Kaizuka Ibuki Village

I stayed here in late November. When you check in, the receptionist will give you a brief explanation of the accommodation. There are amenities at the entrance, so I thought it would be nice to bring only what you need so you don't go to waste. There are goats in the farm stand next to the reception, and you can feed them. There were two of them, but they were quite large, so small children might be surprised. There are three facilities available: the accommodation tents, a shared toilet, and a bathing area. I stayed on a weekday so I couldn't go, but apparently a nearby hot spring is available on weekends. The tent I stayed in had six beds and was spacious, but the air conditioning was effective and comfortable. Although you couldn't see outside when you opened the curtains, there was plenty of light coming in, and it was almost dazzling in the morning. Water seeped in from underneath the floor when you walked in one spot, but other than that there were no other issues, and there were no insects inside, so it was a comfortable stay. As noted when booking, no loungewear is provided, but you can just wear your regular clothes, so it's easy to stay there. There is no TV, but there is Wi-Fi, so you can watch videos, etc. The shared toilets are clean, despite being campsite toilets, and have heated toilet seats and washlets. There was also paper provided for drying your hands after washing. However, there aren't that many of them, so you may have to wait when it's busy. You should consider whether to use them with ample space or bring a portable toilet with you. As for the "guest room jacuzzi," the jacuzzi and shower are located next to your tent and are separated by a curtain. You have to wear a swimsuit and "just soak in the hot water outside," but it was still warm enough even in the evenings at this time of year. Because the jacuzzi is like that, you have to go to the bath area to wash your body. Each tent was assigned a space equipped with a bathtub, shower, vanity, and hair dryer, and it was great that we could use them as we liked 24 hours a day. Meals for dinner and breakfast were brought together. There was a stove inside the dining area next to the tents, so we were able to enjoy our meals in a warm space. There are inevitably gaps at the foot of the entrance and it opens and closes frequently, so it's not impossible for insects to get in, but the food was tightly covered with plastic wrap, bags, cases, etc. so the insects didn't get on the food, and perhaps because it was inside the space, they didn't come near the food at all. Heating the food was also easy as we received instructional videos on LINE, which we registered, so we could watch them. We heated, grilled, and ate at our own pace, so we were able to eat in peace. As you would expect from a chef supervised food, it was delicious. The portions were quite generous, with the chicken confit consisting of a whole leg and bouillabaisse made into risotto. The portions were quite filling, so we had dessert after returning to the tent. The breakfast bento box filled with a variety of dishes, making for a lovely, luxurious start to the day. There was also bread, scrambled eggs, and soup, so we had a hearty meal. The plates you used for dinner and breakfast are collected together after check-out, which was great because you didn't have to meet any campsite staff and could eat whenever you wanted. Checking out also involved going to the same place as checking in and simply returning the key, so I was able to spend the day without meeting anyone. It felt like a hassle-free camping experience, and I had a very relaxed and enjoyable time from start to finish. With the recent camping boom, I think it would be a good idea to use it as a trial or introduction if you're interested in camping.

We went glamping for the first time as a family. We had also booked a horseback riding experience, so we tried it as soon as we arrived. We were surprised by how big the horses were! I was scared at first, but the instructor was very kind and we took a leisurely stroll around the pond. It was so refreshing to be up high! We heard that cherry blossoms bloom around the pond in the spring, so I definitely want to go horseback riding again. There were also two cute white goats roaming freely, and just watching them was so relaxing! The glamping room was a cute dome shape, and although there were three adults staying there, it was spacious enough, and we were very satisfied with the facilities. For dinner, they notified us via LINE, which we registered at check-in, when it was ready. It was helpful that we could watch videos beforehand explaining how to cook and the equipment. It was also our first time barbecuing, but all the equipment was provided, so it was easy to prepare. The meat and vegetables were absolutely delicious! The bath had a cute, foreign-style bathtub, and I was happy that we could take a bath whenever we wanted. The toilets were also very clean. Since it was a weekday, we were the only guests staying at the glamping site! We had the place all to ourselves and enjoyed listening to music while watching the stars late into the night, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, and having warm drinks – what a luxurious time! ✨ Breakfast was also substantial, and since it was sunny, it felt great to eat outside in the midst of nature. The staff were also very kind, and I would definitely like to stay here again♪ Thank you very much.

This was my first time glamping! The room was clean, and the dining tent (?) was a little old, but still clean. The toilets and bathrooms, located a short walk away, were also clean, but while the toilets were easy to get to, I felt the bathrooms were a little far away. Amenities include lotion and milky lotion at the front desk, and makeup remover is available in the bathroom. You can also use Kaiduka Onsen for free once on either your stay or check-out day, but the car ride was a bit of a hassle so we didn't go. I also wanted to roast marshmallows over firewood, but it wasn't included in the plan. You'll need to buy them from the shop or bring your own sticks and marshmallows. Since it was winter, we didn't have to worry about bugs at all. Insect repellent and insect repellent were provided in the room, which would have been great in the summer! It got so cold after dark that a down jacket would have been a good idea, but the dining tent had a heater so it was warm. The stars were so beautiful at night ⭐︎ The chicken confit that came with dinner was tender and delicious!! The vegetables were also delicious!! There were some tender parts of the meat and some parts that were hard to swallow, so I thought it might have been better to leave out the tough parts, as there was plenty of the other parts. After checking out, I had booked a horseback riding experience, so my second-grader daughter had a great time riding a horse and taking a stroll by herself in the clear autumn sky. This glamping facility is very stylish. You register as a friend on LINE, which serves as the means of communication between your room and the front desk. You can find instructions on how to prepare the barbecue (cooking) and information about the room's facilities through LINE. You get one free visit to a nearby hot spring. Some of the cooking involves starting the fire or warming the food yourself, which is also part of the fun. The meals are delicious and come with appetizers. The room we stayed in was wonderful, with a sauna and bath. Of course, the room itself is stylish and lovely. You can get amenities (including for children) at the main reception, and they also lend out toys. The staff at the facility are all very nice. We even got to see goats and horses (^ ^)! There were also lots of big bugs. It's fun to feel like you're in the middle of nature! Mosquito coils, insect repellent, cockroach spray, and other insect control items were provided in the room.

I've used barbecues a few times, but this was my first time glamping with my family. The room was so cute, I was so excited! ( ´∀`) Dinner included a charcoal-grilled barbecue next door, casual French cuisine, and chocolate cake in the dome. There's also a bonfire, jacuzzi, and sauna, but it might be a little embarrassing without a swimsuit (or something you don't mind getting wet). The toilet, sink, and bath are separate and a little far away. You'll have to travel by car, but there's Ibusuki Onsen, and the water was great and warming. (*'▽'*) There's a nice public restroom. However, the toilet and sink aren't adjacent to the room, which was inconvenient. The breakfast was filling and satisfying. For some reason, there was a toaster in the room, so I moved it and used it. The nature was so beautiful, and the stars were so clear I was impressed. The bonfire was truly relaxing. I'd definitely use it again. The goat at the reception was friendly and adorable.
