Onsen with a view but not for relaxing ? I suggest to visit evening or night if the view is your main attraction. Visit weekdays preferable early hours if you like it quiet and coming mainly for regeneration. About the nightview: Awesome night view of Tokyo City including Tokyo tower, Skytree and more, Layout: Onsen and dry Sauna on the upper floor. Hot Stone Sauna, relaxation space is on the lower floor, including Restaurants etc. Sauna: The big sauna allows for many visitors, but due to constant come and go it doesn't stay hot for long. Some regulation is required for relaxation purpose. Recommendation: Due to the size and number of visitors I suggest to come weekdays at odd times. Verdict: For 2500 yen (entrance) + 900 yen (ganbanyoku) you will find other options in Tokyo that serve you well. Ticket purchase, payment etc is all digital ( web registration, vending machine, payment)

The moment I stepped into Kakei no Yu, I felt like I was forgotten about my daily life and enveloped in a special time. The view from the infinity bath on high ground was breathtaking, and since I visited on a snowy day, the contrast between the silvery white scenery and the warm water was soothing to the soul. There are many trees around, so it seems like the scenery changes with each season, and I'm looking forward to returning. The bedrock bath area has a private sauna, and I tried self-loyly while enjoying the aroma of aromatic water, which left my whole body feeling refreshed. The bath after loosening up in the yoga class was also exceptional, and the food was carefully prepared and delicious, feasting both my eyes and my palate. This is a unique and recommended spot where you can truly enjoy not only the hot springs, but also the scenery, experience, relaxation, and food.

I visited at night, and the view was simply breathtaking! From the open-air bath at an altitude of approximately 100m, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the glittering nightscape of central Tokyo, and the sight of the limited-time Jewel Illumination spreading out below is a luxurious experience unlike any other hot spring facility. The natural hot spring water is an amber color, known as "beauty water," and I could really feel my skin becoming moisturized. The sauna is also authentic, with an automatic löyly (steam), and the night view from the outdoor relaxation area is fantastic. The entire facility is new and clean, and the staff were very polite and attentive. It's perfect for ending a day of fun at Yomiuri Land, and also highly recommended as a quiet, relaxing spot for adults! The parking lot seems to have a capacity of 380 cars.

This place is only a few years old, and it's amazing! They feature indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, along with plenty of spots to relax, restaurants, and vending machines. Towels and lounge wear are provided free of charge, and they offer various sizes. Additionally, they give you a wristband that you can use to scan anything you purchase; you'll pay for it when you leave. The highlight for me was the reclining chairs equipped with TVs. The speakers are located in the headrest, so other customers can't hear your audio. You can stay as long as you want, and they provide blankets you can borrow, as well as a selection of books to read. I recommend arriving early if you want a front-row seat, as you can use your blanket to reserve your spot. I highly recommend this place; you could easily spend the entire day here!

It felt like I was at a luxurious hot spring. It was spacious, clean, and the service was attentive. The bedrock bath had five private saunas. The open bedrock bath area also had a great view. You could also do loyly or lie down on the terrace to cool off. The sauna was soothing, with its birch and other scents. The relaxation area was spacious, and there was a wide selection of magazines and manga, so you'd never get bored. The bath was also large, and the open-air bath overlooked the Tama landscape, like an infinity pool. They used ReFa shower heads, and all the amenities were included. The food was also delicious. The fee was a bit high, but my satisfaction level exceeded all expectations. The relaxation was even better than I expected. I'd like to use it every month, depending on the season.
