2024-09-18 Kamitsushima Onsen Nagisa-no-yu I was actually planning to go there after dinner, but I changed my plans and went to the onsen first. They were all the same price, but for some reason, there were separate tickets for islanders, non-Japanese (Japanese), and foreigners. I purchased a foreign adult ticket and a bath towel before entering. Photography isn't allowed inside, but there were a few small baths, about five showers, and a sauna. While it was a bit disappointing, enjoying the onsen while looking out at the ocean from the bath and feeling the sea breeze was a wonderful memory. The bathhouse was completely empty, with nothing but tissues, so I highly recommend bringing a full set if you plan to enjoy the onsen. (There were no cotton swabs, hair dryers, skin toner, lotion, or anything else. There were only tissues.) Since we didn't have much time, we enjoyed a short 5-minute hot spring bath. We then went to try the bottled milk, a special treat in Japanese bathing. Huh?... Prohibited?... Two Japanese ladies who arrived earlier asked the owner, and he said it had been struck by lightning a few days ago and broken. They said it wasn't under the jurisdiction of the bathhouse, but rather a vending machine company product, so they couldn't fix it. Ah... my bottled milk...

The facilities are a bit old, but the water quality and value are top-notch. Located between Miuda Beach and the Toyoko Inn, while the overall size is small, the interior is clean and well-maintained, and the hot springs offer reasonable rates and high-quality water. Upon entering the building, you take off your shoes, put them in a shoe locker, then take your shoe key to the counter, pay, and receive a closet key. The closets are narrow and long, making it difficult to pack down jackets in during the winter... There are three baths, including a small sauna, and a window with an ocean view. The windows can be opened, allowing a cool breeze to blow in, creating the feeling of an outdoor hot spring. While staying at the Toyoko Inn, it's a great idea to combine the beach and hot springs, and even for a day trip, we highly recommend visiting this hot spring.

I visited around noon on October 8th, and it was completely private. After washing my body and hair, I took two sauna sessions, one for 15 minutes and one for 10 minutes, and then relaxed in the cold bath. Maybe due to the typhoon tomorrow, ferries to and from Busan were canceled, so there weren't many guests from Korea. The beautiful scenery of Tsushima and the white-capped seascape were a perfect match. It's in a great location, sandwiched between Miudahama Beach and the Toyoko Inn.

It's right next to Toyoko Inn, so it's convenient for those staying at the hotel. Adults are 600 yen, which is good, but... the facilities feel old. LOL. What size are the lockers? A tip is, after you shower and get dressed, you can go to the lounge over there and chat for a bit if you're a family. Also, if you don't have a towel, you'll have to buy one, so make sure to bring one~~ + shower towel. There's only shampoo and body wash.

It's an older facility, but well-maintained. It's right next to Miuda Campground, making it a perfect stop after a night of camping. The price is reasonable. While there are instructions prohibiting photography inside the hot springs, you can see the interior on Google Maps. I don't think you need to drink the coffee milk or milk.
