A basic set of body soap, shampoo, and conditioner is provided. Hair dryers are also provided. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are very spacious, allowing for a relaxing soak. The restrooms in the changing rooms are also very clean. Bath tickets can be purchased with cash from the vending machines. QR code payments with PayPay can be made at the front desk directly behind the vending machines (marked above the vending machines). Although this is not common at hot springs, this hot spring appears to allow guests with tattoos. (Unclear for Japanese-style tattoos; those with Japanese-style tattoos should check directly with the facility.) This is a completely unsuitable hot spring for those who are completely unacceptable or concerned about tattoos. When I visited, there was only one young customer with a tattoo, but he was very polite and humble, and his manners, language, and interactions with other customers while bathing were good. I didn't feel that it was something to be looked down upon in the old-fashioned way. (This only applies to guests with tattoos.) Please be aware that this is a shared facility that is accepted by the hot spring facility.

Located on a hilltop in the mountains, the open-air bath offers stunning views. The bathing area consists of one indoor bath, one fairly spacious open-air bath, and one tent sauna. The open-air bath is quite large, and the open-air area itself is spacious with great views. While there's a tent sauna, there's no cold plunge pool, so those looking for a deep soak might be disappointed. 🤔 A bit of a shame. The hot spring water is colorless, odorless, and has a smooth, silky feel. 😊 I think it's the kind of hot spring that anyone can enjoy with peace of mind. Ikeda Onsen and Hohoemi no Yu are so hard to choose, the water is so viscous and leaves your skin feeling instantly smooth. I visited on a weekday lunchtime, and it was relatively quiet—not completely deserted, but not overcrowded—so there were no lines for showers and I could enjoy a relaxing soak. I think there were two indoor baths and one large outdoor bath. The view was amazing, too. Soaking in the hot spring while looking out at the mountains is exceptional. There's a garden near the open-air bath. Is it okay to walk around completely naked? I think...lol. There were benches in the garden, but there were no people walking around. 😂 After leaving, I had the Kei-chan set meal. It was incredibly delicious. It's a little far from Gifu city, but I'd like to go again when I have the time.

This hot spring is really nice. Usually it cost ¥600($5.50) to enter the hot spring, but Monday and Friday cost only ¥500($4.50)! And there is a restaurant next to the hot spring, and you can have many different kind of Japanese traditional food. My favorite meal in here is "yuzu karaage" (yuzu deep fried chicken) and yuzu soft serve in summer! If you worried about buy some present for somebody, there is a shop which have many goods for presents.(for example, yuzu dressing, yuzu juice, yuzu skin lotion etc...) I love this place so much!

I used it after hiking Mt. Shiroyama and Mt. Takazawa. If you show a photo from your hike, you get a 200 yen discount. Google Maps says it's 600 yen, but as of 2025, it's 900 yen on weekends, so be careful. The bath is very clean. The open-air bath is also beautiful. The spring water is clear and good. They seem to be famous for their yuzu, so I had a yuzu fried chicken set meal for 1,100 yen. It was a little hard, but delicious. So good value for money.
