♨️The lukewarm water is the best!♨️ Oita Hot Spring Tour 🚙💨 Opened in May 2002. I think this bathhouse is mainly loved by local elderly people. The hot spring water, drawn from 600m underground, is a lukewarm 40℃. 100% free-flowing hot spring water👍🏻 There are two baths, one at approximately 40℃ and the other at approximately 38℃☝🏻 Perfect for a long soak. All the windows in the bathhouse were open, so the breeze was refreshing. I enjoyed three sets of cool-down and bathing for an hour🌈 What I found a little disappointing was... I know it's a local bathhouse so it can't be helped, but the voices of the grandmothers next door were really loud and they were talking non-stop, so even in the men's bath, it was quite noisy😱 I understand it's a local bathhouse and a place to relax, but there are other bathers as well, so I think the facility should do something about it. That's what I felt 😵💫 ⭐︎Sodium-Magnesium Bicarbonate Spring ⭐︎Bathing Fee: ¥360

The sign is big, but it's actually a small hot spring facility tucked away in the fields. ^_^ The bathing fee (350 yen) isn't automatically issued, but is handed to you by a lady, which is a friendly touch. Soap and other items are not available, so be careful not to bring your own. The hot spring water isn't that hot, but you can stay in it for a long time, even in the summer, which is nice. The water is rich and high-quality, and there aren't any nearby, so it's ideal for a quick bath, but it's hard to find. I guess it's a place of relaxation for the locals. ^_^

A day trip costs 360 yen. Business hours are 11:00-21:00. No shampoo or body soap. No hair dryers. No sauna either. However, the hot spring water is of outstanding quality. A large amount of hot spring water gushes out from the source. The hot spring water is not too hot, so you can take your time and relax in it. If you're looking for a sauna and cold bath, we also recommend Mahoroba Onsen Usa, located a little further away. This hot spring is relatively crowded, but the quality of the hot spring water is also excellent, and you can also use the sauna.

The pump was replaced and the bath reopened in November 2011 after a one-month hiatus. I'm so happy! Open from 1 PM to 9 PM, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays 400 yen for adults. You might think you're being tricked, but if you give it a try, you'll see the amazing power of the bicarbonate spring. It no longer leaves marks from socks. Be careful, as there are no amenities like shampoo, but you can purchase them at the reception.

(There was a hair dryer!) We were looking for a hot spring. My companion likes lukewarm water, so we decided on this place, which has two floors. According to the locals, the water quality is excellent and it's great for pain relief. We warmed up nicely. There was a hair dryer, but they didn't have soap, shampoo, or conditioner, but we brought our own, so that was fine. The shower was strong and easy to use.
