片岡温泉（三重県・湯の山の日帰り温泉）

We've always wanted to try one of Japan's hot springs, and we are so happy we chose to come here. They have 4 levels of hot springs, with the last being the hottest, we tried them all. We stayed in the hot bath 5 to 7 minutes for each level, a total of 30 minutes, and then after 30 minutes break, we went back again for another 30 minutes! They close at midnight, so there's plenty of time to relax and take your sweet time to have a meal or a short nap in one of their huge pillows. Male and female baths are separated with their own locker rooms and dressing rooms. It's best to bring your own big and small towels and toiletries. There is nothing to bring inside the bath except your towel. Before going in the hot bath, it is required to clean and shower your hair and body to remove makeup and hair products. The water from the hot bath comes from underground near the mountain, and water is replaced every day. After the bath, try to drink water and weigh yourself, I myself lost 2 kilos for 2 rounds of 30 minutes in the hot bath! Fantastic! We'll definitely do this more often from now on!

For the price, unbeatable. Incredible experience it’s quiet, clean, and luxurious. The onsen has a great atmosphere and feels very organic. Uses a lot of natural light which can be a bit dim but this elevates the mood. The way the onsen especially the outdoor section is designed is incredible. It feels like you’re in a bamboo forest and is quiet. The way the trees are placed creates a sense of depth and makes the place feel much bigger than it is. The onsen water is good too as it is from a natural hot spring. 10/10 vibes. There’s a lounging area outside the onsen with bean bags and books to relax afterwards. There’s also a bakery/patisserie which sell some delicious snacks. Food at the restaurant was also excellent but might have a wait time as it is quite popular. Good place to retreat and recharge if you’re in the area. Very close to Suzuka which is great after the F1 event. Just wish there was a sauna too.

This place is absolutely stunning, clean, and a proper place to relax. Gorgeous bamboo trees surrounding perfectly-tempted natural waters. The price is very cheap for the facilities available. But if you are lover of saunas, there isn’t any sauna yet. Highly recommended

The bathing fee is only 600 yen for an adult. The structure is new and nice looking. Nonetheless having only 4 kinds bath tubs that are packed with peopke and not providing basic cosmetics for women while sellig cakes on the other hand was disappointing.

very nice hot spring. you will naturally get sweat in about 5 to 10 minute. clean facility, reasonable pricing. if there were sauna also, it will be much better.
