Kirara

[Kirara] We visited on our way back from fishing at Misaki Port. I found this bathhouse by searching for nearby bathhouses. Google Maps' navigation system led me down a small path, but I couldn't find it and ended up passing it by. Please be careful if you're planning on going there. It's located inside Mahoroba Mines. We parked in the parking lot shared with Mahoroba Mines. Since we were only using the bathhouse, parking is free for one hour with facility usage of 3,000 yen or more. We were lucky to be three people. There's a ticket machine in the lobby. We bought a bath ticket for 1,000 yen, and hand and bath towels for 200 yen each. We lined up with hotel guests to pick up our towels at the entrance. Go up the stairs and take the elevator to the third floor.

This hot spring facility is located within Mahoroba Mines. As of August 2022, the men's bath is open from 6:00am to 11:00am, and the women's bath is open from 12:00pm to midnight. Perhaps because it's close to the sea, the hot spring water is quite salty. The temperature was just right and it felt great.

This is a bath only, no sauna/cold plunge. I guess I assumed it was a usual set up. Anyways, nice place, super professional/friendly staff. Bath was welcome after a long walk around the coast. ¥1300 for bath, the machine only accepts old coins/notes. Cc ok!
