北本温泉 湯楽の里

It's located between Okegawa and Kitamoto, slightly closer to Okegawa, but the address is Kitamoto Futatsuya, so it's Kitamoto Onsen Yuraku no Sato. Tickets are purchased in advance from a ticket machine, a traditional method. The bathroom is a U-shaped courtyard with a hot spring rock bath and a tub bath under a canopy, a large carbonated spring + electric bath next to the faucets, a hotter indoor bath, a small group of faucets, a jet bath, and at the back there are two saunas on both sides and a cold bath in the middle. I wanted to drink milk or coffee milk after the bath, but they didn't accept new 1,000 yen notes or new 500 yen coins, so I gave up and headed home. There's a road bike rack next to the entrance. If you're using the bus, be careful as it doesn't run often.
Yuraku no Sato Kitamoto Onsen This super public bath is located along a main road. Bus access is limited, so be careful. While the hot spring has made significant efforts, such as adding a rock sauna, this one seems to be beloved by locals. The flowers at the merchandise booth were particularly striking. While the bathroom and other design elements are a bit outdated or flawed, it's still relaxing.
Has many options to experience the hot springs in different ways. They are also constantly checking the water and cleaning the areas. The Menu is also very wide and super children friendly. There is a reading corner with a lot of mangas and also plenty of options for desserts and souvenirs.
Cannot find a single reason to return to this place. Water, nor atmosphere is appealing. If you have an alternative, please go somewhere else.
The temperature of the open-air bath 🌡️ is set a little low, below 42℃. The sauna was spacious, and I was able to relax very comfortably. …
