I visited on a Sunday afternoon. As I opened the door and entered, a female staff member asked, "Is this your first time?" and gave me a thorough explanation of how to use the facility and its amenities. The fee is 420 yen for adults. Purchases are made from a cash-only vending machine. There are no lockers in the changing rooms, so please store your valuables in a coin locker near the reception desk. You will receive a refund for the 100 yen usage fee. Perhaps it was just a coincidence that I visited at a time when it was so crowded that there were no laundry baskets left. Naturally, the bathroom was also a bit crowded, with many locals there. There are two bathtubs, one large and one small, but the large one isn't particularly large, so it felt cramped with more than four people in it. Free-flowing hot spring water for just 420 yen! Get silky smooth skin. The women's bath has one indoor bath. It's simple, with no sauna. Enjoy the Showa-era vibe. I soaked in the hot water, about 41°C, for about 3 minutes, followed by three sets of cold showers. It wasn't a strong enough hot spring to make you feel dizzy, but the emerald water seeped into your body and was great! It was a little salty when I splashed it on my face. lol *In the men's bath, my son was showering standing up when you should be sitting, and apparently a regular old man slapped him on the buttocks and told him, "Sit down when you shower!" 😅 Since my son's older children are in the men's bath with their dad, I can't supervise them, so I appreciate the warnings. 🙏

The exterior and interior are old, but... The water is heated from the source. The water is thin and dark (apparently it used to be darker, according to a regular customer). 420 yen for one bath. The water is sold hot, so you can't add cold water to make it warmer. An elderly regular customer complained that it was too hot, and the boiler temperature was lowered. There's a washing area, but the bath is small, the changing room is small, and the water is hot, so it's not suitable for families. There's a rest room, but it's not a place where you can make noise. I'm looking for a hot spring in the Chiba area, and this one is great. If you go after noon on weekends, the women's bath is often completely empty. The men's bath seems to be crowded.

It looks like a rather dilapidated community center, so you might wonder, "Is there really a hot spring here?" It's always bustling with locals. The slightly colored mineral spring water, similar to a moor spring, is heated and flows continuously. There's a sign indicating disinfection, but there's no smell. The water is adjusted to be quite hot, so you can't soak for too long, but it's a refreshing and nice bath 😊 I also feel a moisturizing effect. There's a rest area where you can lie down. There's no restaurant or anything like that. They sell some local vegetables and other small items, and their eggs are delicious; I buy them every time I go. Be careful, as there are sometimes cats wandering around the parking lot.

I took a bath after the Ibaraki 100K Ultra Marathon. ♨️ The water is free-flowing from the hot spring, and I think the shower is also from the source. The water was so thick it almost felt like lotion! There were two bathtubs, but both were quite hot. If you like lukewarm water, you probably won't like it. If you love hot water, you'll love it. 😆 Personally, it felt amazing. ♨️ I had no idea there were hot springs in Ibaraki Prefecture with such amazing water quality! It was also cheap, only around 400 yen! Payment was cash only. I highly recommend it!
