Recently, I've become addicted to visiting nearby hot springs, and I came across this inn and decided to try out the day spa. I think it's very reasonable to be able to enjoy this hot spring for 700 yen. All baths except the family bath are circulating, but even though I'm sensitive to smells, I hardly noticed any smell of disinfectant or people. It seems well-maintained. The open-air bath is small, only suitable for 3-4 people. However, it was very quiet, and I was able to slowly calm my mind by going in and out repeatedly. I really like the calm atmosphere, with not many people around. I don't really want this to be known, but the hot springs were so good that I want them to make a profit and continue doing so, so I'm leaving a review. I'll visit again. Thank you.

This was a day trip to the hot springs, so I haven't reviewed the guest rooms. This is a small, traditional hot spring inn in the countryside. The surrounding area is a typical rural village, with mountains in the background, and a peaceful area with houses in front and rice fields beyond. I went in the middle of summer, but the air conditioning worked well in the changing rooms, and the bathtub area was surprisingly cool. The water feels a bit similar to Arima Onsen, although it doesn't have that iron feel, of course. I think the water is pretty good. The only disappointment is that the open-air bath was too hot. If it hadn't been so hot, it would have been just the right temperature. It's also close to Kasuga Interchange, so transportation is convenient.

I stayed here with a friend who's a fan of Araki! For dinner we had peony hotpot. It was my first time eating wild boar, and it was delicious, with no peculiar taste and a nice chewy texture (not tough)! The broth was made with sansho pepper and miso, which was a new taste for me. It really warmed me up! The other dishes were also very delicious with delicate flavors! After soaking in the hot spring, my body warmed up very much, and I continued to radiate heat for a while...so I slept really well! The room was spacious and warm, and the view was amazing! The breakfast was also luxurious and delicious! The landlady and everyone else were very kind, and we talked a lot about Araki! I'd love to visit again if I have the opportunity!

It's nice to be able to use the hot springs for a day trip, but the changing room is really cold. Even though it's so cold, there's no heating, and you have to take off and put on clothes in a really cold place, so I wish they'd leave some heaters out. If I get heat shock and collapse... will they provide insurance? People have died in the bath from heat shock, after all! You don't need an air purifier in a cold place, though. 😁

I was in the area for work, so I found this hot spring on Google Maps and decided to use it for a day trip. I'm glad I stopped by. It was quiet, and the hot springs were great. It was a relief after busy days. Next time I'd like to stay at the inn. It was just as I expected: a traditional hot spring! Amenities are minimal, so please bring your own if you plan to use the hot springs! There was a hair dryer!
