Konu Hot Spring

I went with my kids, and I only saw the men's bath, but there was only one large public bath with just one large tub... I went on a Saturday around 1 PM, and it was practically reserved... The only thing in the changing room was a hair dryer, and there was no hair styling water or lotion, so you had to bring your own... Adults pay 500 yen, and those up to 16 years old pay 200 yen, so you can even use the pool, which might be a good deal? I didn't bring a swimsuit, so we didn't go in the pool... If you just want a quick bath, it might be worth it...

I visited the day after a heavy snowfall. It doesn't snow much where I live, so it was fun to see snow piled up along the way. 😊 I visited in the afternoon and the hot springs were all to myself. The pool, which is available for the same price, was under renovation and unavailable. 😭 I wanted to enjoy the open-air bath so I could see the snow, but unfortunately, there was no open-air bath. Still, for 500 yen you can enjoy the beautiful hot springs and pool, so I'll definitely return with my kids once the pool renovations are complete. 😄

This place is about a 20-minute drive from the Sera roadside station. The pool and hot springs are 500 yen per day, and lunch is 750 yen. It's simple and delicious. There's only one large bath, and the hot springs are neither too hot nor too lukewarm. Personally, I think it's a good choice.

I took a bath at 1 PM on a Sunday. It was a beautiful, impressive facility (I think it's run by Miyoshi City), but I was the only one in the bath! It was nice to have the place to myself, but... They're probably running a huge deficit, so I wonder if that's okay?

I went on a Saturday night, and there were few customers, so I was able to relax in the bath. The price was reasonable, but it would be even better if there was an open-air bath.
