Koyo Onsen

This hot spring has a nostalgic atmosphere and a reception counter. The fee is 450 yen. The soft water is pumped from 150 meters underground. I'm so happy to have finally found a good, nostalgic hot spring after such a long time. I can see why it has so many regulars. The electric bath is the most powerful I've been to in a while, and anyone with stiff muscles will be very satisfied. If you don't bring a towel to the sauna, regulars will warn you, so be sure to bring one. The cold water bath is kept at 12 degrees Celsius year-round. You can also enjoy a soft jet bath and medicinal baths like Bathclin. And after your bath, you can have coffee milk. It's at the entrance to the men's bath, so you have to go there to get it. I was surprised to encounter a heavily tattooed person coming out of the men's bath, but apparently this is a tattoo-friendly place, so those who are tattoo-challenged can feel free to enter. This is one hot spring I'd like to drop by again.

A public bathhouse in a narrow alleyway Windows line the right side of the bathroom, but it's not very bright. Square bathtubs line the left wall. First, the medicinal bath, which can fit about four people. On this day, the Bath Friend Forest Bath was a bright blue. It was warm and chest-deep. It bubbling and vibrating. Next to it was a continuous bathtub with an electric bath, a hot water outlet, and two jet baths. All of them were chest-deep. It wasn't too hot, not too lukewarm, but still a little warm. Next to that was the natural water cold bath. It was large enough for about four people, and it was shoulder-deep. Perhaps because of the natural water, it wasn't too cold, making it incredibly refreshing after a sauna. Further back from the cold bath was a sauna booth attached to the wall. It was a tiled mist sauna that was incredibly hot. It could fit about six people. Shampoo and body soap were provided. Free hair dryers. 480

First visit. 450 yen. It has an old-fashioned public bathhouse feel with a attendant at the front desk. The baths are a lemon bath, a jacuzzi, an electric bath, and a cold bath. There's also a sauna. The baths are quite hot, so alternating between them and the cold bath relieves the body. ^_^ I guess the sauna is steam, because steam clings to you, but you don't really feel like you're sweating. I think alternating between the bath and the cold bath would have been better. It's small, but I ended up soaking for a long time. The water was great. ^_^

The electric bath is stronger than at other facilities. 👍 The bathroom isn't very large, but it has a medicinal bath, a cold bath, and a sauna, so you can fully relax. The parking lot is large and open until 11pm! They also offer discount passes, and there are small benches outside where you can cool off and purchase drinks, so you can spend your time relaxing. There's no rest room, but I think you'll be satisfied. 😌

Considering it's only 420 yen, the facilities are pretty good. They even have a medicinal bath and a jacuzzi. It's a little small, though. The clientele is pretty bad. Most of the people there are tattooed gangsters or their acquaintances. What's more, their manners are pretty bad. Can't something be done to improve this? The government should get involved.
