Kua Onsen Yashima

Bathing fee is 400 yen, including sauna. Shampoo and body soap are not provided. Please bring your own. Wi-Fi is available. The sauna temperature is 110°C, and in the strong Showa-era style, the cold water bath is also quite cold. There is also an open-air bath, and the open-air bathing space can seat 5-6 people. This is an old-established public bath, so as you'd expect, Mount Fuji is painted on the tiled walls.

This is a local Onsen, and therefore nothing extra special must be expected from it. In each section (male/female) there are 3 big heated indoor baths/pools (1 usually filled with green tea), 1 heated outdoor bath/pool, 1 sauna, and 1 cold water pool. Entrance is ¥420, and it's open until 22:00 (closed on Wednesday).

It feels like a public bath. It's old, but it's well-cleaned. They don't provide shampoo, conditioner, etc. It costs 400 yen, and there isn't much parking. They also have an open-air bath and sauna. It was really annoying when regulars gathered in the popular bath and talked for long periods of time without moving.

I was attracted by the sign that said 400 yen and decided to go. The free parking lot is sufficient and easy to park in. The bathroom is larger than I expected, giving it a sense of openness. There is also a sauna and an open-air bath, so it really feels like a social gathering place.

Although it's old, there is a high-temperature sauna where you can also bathe in the open air. The price is very reasonable, so you can easily use it just for the sauna. The parking lot is small, so please be careful if you are coming by car.
