Kuyahara Hot Spring

No, this place is so amazing! I want something like this in my neighborhood! You can't find it in Tokyo. Numata City is great. You pay at the entrance, get your locker key, and head to the bath. You can stay all day (though it's not a spa house, so you can't stay). There's an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a warm, long bath. There's a home-sauna-sized dry sauna, which only fits two people, so people in the back can't get out. It was almost private, so we had to take turns. Since it was a weekday, I was able to use it three times. And the cold bath is pretty cold! It's the coldest in the Kanto region, probably just before freezing. Even I, who can tolerate cold baths, could only handle the excruciating pain for 30 seconds! There's no hair dryer, but they don't provide lotions or other face lotions. The rest area is clean and relaxing. There's also a small, dimly lit nap room. It's open until 10 PM, which is great! If I had to say something negative, it would be gravel parking, which must be tough on rainy or snowy days. I guess the landlord doesn't allow it.

Pleasant and somehow private feeling. There are two pools, one inside, one smaller outside, both at 44°C. A unique dry sauna, rather small in which anymore than 3 would be like Tokyo subway, but very pleasant alone. Last but not least a cold 🧊 water tub to cool down. Entry at 600¥. There is a monthly membership option good if you reside in Numata, including pick up and drop off at your place of residence. A good deal if you intend to come everyday but one. To top it off, the adjoining gourmet restaurant is worth a visit.

This is a day-trip hot spring located behind K's Denki in Numata 😄 It's a single-story building, so be careful not to miss it! (There's a JAF discount, 100 yen off for up to 4 people lol) The interior is clean and stylish ✨ The water quality is refreshing and has a clean feel. After bathing, you'll feel warm for a long time and your skin will be smooth ♨ There's also a cafe and a farm restaurant, which is stylish (*^^*) I want to use it again sometime ♡

Baths and meals. I used their services the day before the Joshu Hotaka Mountain Sky View Trail. It's a multi-purpose facility with more than just a gym and cafe. I visited after dark. Next time, I'd like to visit during the daytime on a weekday. There's also a housing facility for people with disabilities run by the hospital across the street. I suspect it's a facility that people from all over the country come to inspect. It's wonderful.
