Manten no Yu

I come here at least twice a month. It is relatively inexpensive. On the weekends the ticket is 700 for adults and I think 600 for weekdays. You can rent a towel set for 250, which is convenient as I don't like carrying wet stuff home. To be honest, the more I come here the more I find other sentos lacking, even in bigger and more popular cities. There are 4 indoor hot baths, and 2 indoor cold baths. They have a themed which changes every month. There is also a sauna which smells really good. Outside, they have a milky bath and a bubbly bath. They also have a bath near a TV and two stone bathtubs. During busy times these are always taken, so you have to be assertive. Also, there is a sake bath, which I really like. The bath is very hot, but it smells like sake. It's really nice. Last, there is a bath where you can lay down. They have a small restaurant on the ground floor, and a small arcade. My favorite thing to do is come here during the sumo tournaments and sit on the tatami to watch TV. They always play the sumo tournaments when they are happening. There's also plenty of places to sleep, but I don't think you can actually stay overnight xD Overall this place isn't exactly fancy, but it is very good for the price and a short walk from the station. It is closer and cheaper than hotspring mountain so I come here much more often.

If you are not afraid to be naked with a whole lot of other guys (girls, if you are female), this is probably the best place in town to relax, while saving some in time and money. There is a good set of artificial hot springs, including personal jacuzzis, saunas, several different types of bathtubs. It also provides a massage service (additional fees applied), barber (1,600 yen or so) , gaming arcade, Manga library, Japanese diner, and the nap qubicles. So, you can have a dinner, get your hair cut, take a bath, play some games and read Manga, get some massage, and take a nap in one place. The last quarter of your day is completely taken care of. But one thing you have to know is that the place is strictly prohibited for people with tattoos which imply that you are a member of Japanese mafia. Otherwise, this place is well worth your money, if, again, you are okay to expose yourself or to see others being exposed.

This onsen has many interesting options for bathing! I am a foreigner, and this was my first time at an onsen alone. I really enjoyed it! The entry fee is very cheap and the inside is very clean and comfortable. I like the rental loungewear set, it's very comfortable. The atmosphere is very peaceful. If I can, I will come here often.

It has lots of bath options and has many natural decorations, which makes the environement quite enjoyable. In terms of baths, I love the chrysanthemum sake bath, which I haven't seen anywhere else. For 500yen, this worth every penny.

Weekday 600 weekend 700. Better to go weekdays. Because, less people less entrance fee.
