This was my first time using the facility. I visited around 8 PM on a holiday. There was a notice posted at the entrance (see attached image). ◯Jet bath ◯Waterfall shower The above two facilities were out of order, so women were offered a 50 yen discount. However, the following were also unavailable: ◯Handwashing area in the changing room toilet ◯Handwashing area immediately outside the changing room toilet ◯Splash shower The only usable sink was the vanity with the hairdryer. However, there was no hand soap there. After using the toilet, the only place to wash your hands was inside the bathroom. (I believe there was no hand soap there either.) There was no explanation about this around the toilet. I saw someone who had finished using the toilet not knowing what to do and proceeding to prepare for the bath without washing their hands. I found this very unpleasant. I question the hygiene. If the handwashing areas are unavailable, they should post alternative locations inside the toilet or at the two unusable handwashing areas. Furthermore, I had concerns about the hygiene of the bathroom. The tiles were uneven, and water was pooling in places where the tiles had sunk. It was unpleasant because I didn't know how long the water had been there. There is a drain, but the water doesn't flow properly through it. Also, there are very few buckets available to rinse your feet before entering the bath. I think there are also problems with the area outside the open-air bath. The stone pavement is very sandy, and sand often gets stuck to the soles of your feet. Even trying to rinse your feet before entering the open-air bath was difficult because the amount of water in the bathtub was insufficient for the depth of the bath, making it hard to even fill a bucket with water. Perhaps because of this, almost no one was rinsing themselves before entering the open-air bath. As others have mentioned, the open-air bath has both deep and shallow areas. However, there are no markers to indicate the boundary between them. I saw several people almost fall and panic. It's dangerous for both adults and children. Seeing that the issue hasn't been improved, I suspect this comment section isn't being reviewed. I paid 1050 yen, which was a holiday discount of 50 yen, but honestly, it's expensive considering the hygiene and service. I think the weekday rate would be just right. I visited during a day trip to Okayama, but I won't be coming back. I don't usually write reviews, but this was the first time I've received such poor service, so I felt compelled to write this to raise awareness. After getting out of the hot spring, my body stayed warm for a long time, so I felt the quality of the hot spring water itself was excellent.

I went there for the first time around the end of February 2026. I don't usually write reviews, but I thought I should write one here for first-time visitors... Here are the details... When I went, there was a sign posted saying, "We are currently repairing a large-scale leak and are unable to provide hot water." It wasn't just hot water. There were signs and notices prohibiting its use in various places, including the jet bath and the changing room taps. Even in other usable areas, the floor tiles were peeling, there was a red cone in the bathroom, steps caused by subsidence or something were covered up with grass mats, and the windows were dirty. Overall, the facility was poorly maintained and didn't feel clean at all. I stopped in to soothe my fatigue from driving, but it was so unsanitary that I ended up feeling more tired, and I had the illusion that my body was sticky, and as soon as I left I wanted to go to another bathhouse. In this condition, the price just for a bath was over 1,000 yen. The prices I see at similar facilities when I travel are usually around 750-900 yen, so it's quite expensive. It seems it's cheaper if you're a member of an affiliated facility, but I think it's still about the same price as a regular super sento. Visiting super sento while driving is a little hobby of mine, and after trying out several stores, there have of course been a few that I thought "the facilities were a little limited," "it wasn't satisfying compared to the others," or "it was good but not to my taste," but this was the first time I ever "regretted having gone." Even so, when I visited, I thought, "The equipment suddenly broke down and they're overwhelmed... I came at a bad time... I'll try again once the heat dies down and the equipment is back in order..." But later, when I read other people's reviews, it seems that this state has been going on for months. At this point, I can't help but wonder if there's something wrong with the management or owner, or if they just can't afford to repair it. I really don't want more people to have the same experience as me... so I decided to post my first review. If you've read this far and are thinking about going, it's best to check their website to see if repairs have been made and if they're being properly addressed. If there's no progress, it's best not to go. As things stand, going would actually make me feel uncomfortable.

I visited on January 2, 2026. I had high hopes because the exterior was beautiful, but it was the worst. - The two sinks near the entrance were out of order. - The shower heads couldn't be used. - The showers immediately after entering the bath were out of order. - There was a problem with the men's beauty bath, so it was closed until repairs were made. - One side of the steam sauna is currently malfunctioning, so men and women are taking turns using it until repairs are completed. - The far-infrared sauna's door closer is broken, creating a gap between the door and the wall, through which hot air is leaking. This causes the indoor temperature to be somewhat low. - The entire bath area was dirty. As a result, only the indoor and outdoor baths were usable. What's more, an elderly person, apparently a local, came out of the far-infrared sauna drenched in sweat and went straight into the cold bath. It was absolutely filthy. Did he mistake it for his own bath at home? They need to stop this. It's embarrassing for locals to write such things about me, a person from outside the prefecture. Note that this is the situation in the men's bath only. I don't know what the women's bath is like, but I imagine it's similar. Looking at other people's reviews, it seems that the malfunctions have been occurring for about a year, but have been left unrepaired to this day. Why haven't they made any repairs when the number of malfunctions is so severe that it should be closed? What on earth is going on with the management system here? This is the first time I've seen a hot spring facility operating so carelessly. The facility should suspend operations and repair the broken parts as soon as possible. 1,050 yen for something like this? That's ridiculous. I'm never going again.

I've been using this hot spring since it first opened, ever since I was young. I love the large open-air bath, so I've even come on days when typhoons hit. Of course, 20 years of age has shown signs of wear and tear. The sinks and water dispensers don't work, the showers aren't working, the lights are dim, and the baths are dirty—there are obvious signs of wear and tear. The cleaning and patrol of the changing rooms seems to have gotten worse. I saw them broken and unusable five years ago, and nothing's changed in 2026. I used to eat the set meal, but I stopped, and the trash cans are overflowing, and I really need a floor roller. I can't stand people who have a terrible foot and scalp odor. The stench emanates from the lockers they use, and it's unbearable. The stench lingers and lingers. I've been coming here for a long time, and I feel like there's been an increase in people like that recently who disrupt the atmosphere. The ventilation in the building doesn't seem to be working properly. It's in pretty bad condition.

I used it about once or twice a month for several years, but in recent years the management has been poor. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bath area is filled with traffic cones and artificial turf, making it look like a construction site. The ventilation also seems poor. The shower doesn't work well and some of the washrooms in the changing rooms are unusable. The beauty bath has been out of order for months and as of February 2026, it is said to be unable to be repaired. There are no larger hot spring facilities nearby so I've been using it out of habit, but it may be time to give up on it. At the very least, I don't feel the service is worth the price.
