道前渓温泉

This hot spring has great water! 🎵(*^^*) Nearby is the upper reaches of the Nakayama River, which flows from Sakurasanri. If you enter from the Sakurasanri side of Route 11, you'll come across a bridge. The stones on the water's surface reveal a distinctive fault pattern. The view of the rapids from the bridge is spectacular. 🌿🍁 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Closed on Tuesdays. Citrus fruits are available for sale at low prices. (*^-^*)ゞ

What does "Dozen" mean? During the Taika Reforms (645), provincial capitals were established in each province, and the names Dozen, Dochu, and Dogo were created around these provincial capitals. Dochu referred to the area where the provincial capitals were located, and the area in front of the provincial capitals facing Kyoto was called Dozen, and the area behind them was called Dogo.

Although it is an old and small hot spring, it is well-maintained and you can bathe comfortably. It is a local hot spring and is very comfortable. The bath has a large bathtub, a cold bath, and a mini sauna. The bathing fee is only 450 yen, which is very reasonable. There is no body soap or shampoo, so you will need to bring your own.

It has the atmosphere of a nostalgic public bath. The small bathroom is old but clean. The water was very good. People who like it hot might find it lukewarm... but it was just right for me. There is also a small sauna. I'm a big guy, so it can fit one or two people in, and up to four petite people. A hair dryer costs 10 yen.

It seems that they are currently closed due to the rising cost of oil used to boil water. There are no plans to reopen. I asked someone who was weeding the parking lot. I was really looking forward to it so it's a shame, but it would be pointless if they were to end up in the red... I'm looking forward to it reopening!
