The atmosphere of the facility—the indoor bath, surrounded by the warmth of wood and the scent of nature, and the tasteful Shigaraki-yaki outdoor bath—made me feel like I was in my own private "healing garden." It was so quiet and tranquil, I was able to instantly relieve my daily fatigue. The water is directly from the hot spring, so it stayed warm for hours after bathing. My body and mind were completely warmed and I was able to fully relax. Also, since it was a private room, I loved being able to relax in peace and quiet, even with my family or partner. Being able to relax without worrying about time is a luxury you don't get at other hot spring facilities. The facility was also very clean, and both the changing rooms and bathrooms were well-maintained, which left a good impression. Overall, I felt it was the perfect place to relax when I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reset my mind and body. I can confidently say it's a hot spring I'll want to return to.
I saw a vacancy on their website, so I went there right after, but they said, "They haven't cleaned it yet, so it's going to be a tight schedule." They said, "There's a ticket machine, and there are about four people at the reception desk who aren't doing anything, so shouldn't they be the ones cleaning it?" Well, it's fine that they can't let me in for now, but at the end they said, "Please make a reservation next time." Does that mean they only accept customers with reservations? That was an unnecessary comment, and their service was terrible. I felt uncomfortable.
The quiet, calming atmosphere was charming and very relaxing. The scent of wood wafted from the entrance, the entire facility was clean, and the staff were polite and welcoming. The open-air bath had an outstanding sense of openness, and it was great to be able to enjoy the mountain view while soaking in the tub. The water was just the right temperature, and the spring water was soft enough to leave my skin feeling smooth. I'd definitely like to go again.
It was my first time using the facility, and it was better than I expected. The facility was very clean, and the staff were very polite and I had a pleasant time. There was a wide variety of baths, and the open-air bath had a sense of openness that made me lose track of time. There was also a large rest area, so I was able to relax after my bath. This is a hot spring I would definitely like to use again when I want to refresh myself.
I chose the standard room! It was so easy to make a reservation online! Since I chose the standard room, I was worried there wouldn't be an open-air bath, but it was included, and the extra open-air bath was so relaxing and satisfying! The price was only 2,500 yen! Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were included! They also sold towels at the reception, which was very helpful! I'd definitely like to stay again! 🤲
