水橋温泉ごくらくの湯

I started going there recently. The facilities are kept really clean, down to the smallest details, from the bathtub to the changing room to the rest area. They don't offer shampoo or anything, but 500 yen for all that is... so cheap! The hot spring is a sodium chloride spring. I personally have sensitive skin, but it doesn't hurt at all. There are two indoor baths: a shallow jacuzzi-like bath and a standing bath. There is also a shallow outdoor bath. There is also a garden, which is beautiful. There are chairs so you can take a break if it gets a little too hot. By the way, there is no sauna. My personal favorite is the monthly handwritten wall newspaper posted on the wall of the indoor bath. It's so interesting that I look forward to it every month. I had no idea there was such an interesting hot spring so close to me. I bought a multi-ride ticket and will definitely be back.

The hot spring water is very concentrated! I didn't have time to soak in it for long, but it was so good I'd definitely like to go back! Shampoo and body soap are not included for 500 yen, but you can buy them for 50 yen each. There's a jacuzzi-like bathtub and a deep bathtub, and this one has tiny bubbles like carbonated water coming out from the window (two places). The open-air bath is quite hot (the indoor bath isn't that hot). The light brown water is relaxing. It has a soft texture like soft water, but the open-air bath has a slightly heavier water. It's designed so you can take a break. Since it's a public bath, there are some people with tattoos there. Personally, I think it's great that people with tattoos can enter the hot springs. Generally, tattoos aren't allowed in hot springs, so I feel bad for them.

I came here for the first time after being recommended that it be cheap and very good. The parking lot is large and easy to park in. It's very cheap at 470 yen per adult, but there's no sauna, no shampoo, conditioner, or soap, the hot spring is quite lukewarm even for me who gets hot easily, and there are no toilets. I think the 800 yen super sento is a better deal.

The baths were kept clean, the customers were well behaved, and I was able to relax and enjoy the baths. The water was a light brown color and a little hot, like a moor spring. I was surprised to find such a nice hot spring in the middle of town, and felt lucky to be able to take a dip.
