The location might be a little hard to find 🤔 It's on the 4th floor of the accommodation building. If you enter from the east entrance, there's an elevator 🛗 that goes directly to the 4th floor on the right; if you enter from the accommodation building entrance, there's one on the left. The location of this elevator was a little hard to find on my first visit 🤏 I asked the receptionist and they kindly showed me the way 😊 You pay the bathing fee at the reception on the 4th floor. The hot spring water ♨️ has a slippery texture, is salty, and colorless and transparent 🤔 The nearby Megumi no Yu hot spring facility ♨️ also has a slippery salty spring, but the water is slightly cloudy. They're so close, yet so different! In any case, the hot springs ♨️ on the Chita Peninsula are not to be underestimated 😃 Since I was using the accommodation facility's large public bath for a day trip, I only had access to the indoor bath, sauna, and cold plunge pool. The temperature was around 40°C. Even I, who prefers lukewarm water, was fine 🙆♂️ The only thing that bothered me was that the chair with handrails, intended for people with disabilities, was being used like a relaxation chair. Perhaps a customer moved it on their own 🤔 I thought that using it like that made it difficult for people who truly need it to use it. There were chairs for that purpose in the washing area as well, but I think the ones with handrails are easier for people with disabilities to use. If it's for relaxation, shouldn't they provide a chair specifically for that purpose? The hot spring water is a simple alkaline spring with a wonderfully slippery texture. However, it lacks the view from the fourth floor, the large public bath, and the sauna. It lacks other facilities like an open-air bath or a jacuzzi, making it a rather unexciting natural hot spring. The facility is located within the Aichi Health Plaza, but signs aren't clear enough. I finally found the fourth floor and a dedicated elevator after asking the receptionist, and finally made it to the hot spring. The parking lot is large and there's a security guard, but it's a large facility that's hard to find unless you ask (there are several entrances, making it difficult to find). I saw a few women here and there providing directions, but I think they were from the town hall. They were unfriendly, and if you didn't speak to them, they just stared at you like you were a suspicious person, which I thought might be intimidating for first-time visitors. Since it's a large facility, I think they need more clear signs, directions to the hot spring, and signs indicating the dedicated elevator. I'd like to ask the Higashiura Town Hall: How many receptionists and security guards are there? Are you spending too much money by having more staff than necessary? I'd like to see them streamline their operations and lower the usage fees.

The bath water is smooth and wonderful. It's also very clean. The sauna is just the right temperature. However, it's unfortunate that there are sometimes rude patrons who do exercises in the small bath, spread out their bags halfway in the bathroom, leave their hair dryers on, or use their smartphones or tablets. I wish they'd implement stricter warnings like other places that smartphones are strictly prohibited in the changing rooms and bathrooms.

It's a small place. There's one bath, one cold water bath. One sauna, and also showers. It was around 5pm on a weekday, but there were elderly people there, as well as some young people who seemed to be staying there. The health plaza itself was empty and somehow quiet, and I got the feeling it wasn't a private facility. There's usually more music playing in private accommodation and bathhouses, so I was surprised at how quiet it was.

I've been a frequent user since I lived in Nagoya. It's amazing that the prices have remained the same! Recently, Tamano-yu, a nearby hot spring facility, closed down, making this a valuable addition to the area. Its selling points are its natural hot spring water, its proximity to the Obu or Agui rest areas, and its relatively late operating hours. It's especially helpful when taking a break at a rest area.
