Glorious. The only thing I can add to the other reviews is that I got in with a gigantic tattoo that I have on my leg and back. I just kindly asked the lady at the entry if it was ok. She took a good looked and me, I showed the tattoos and told her they were big, and she said “ok”! I was extremely surprised and grateful that she would allow me to go in after hearing that it wasn’t possible. Also, there were no “no tattoo” signs at the entrance so perhaps they are fully allowed? Don’t know. Just thankful for my luck. The place is amazing.

The worst experience possible. I tried to ask in advance if my husband, who has a physical disability, could enter. They didn't explicitly say no, but we understood that we were not welcome. We felt mistreated, and no matter how beautiful the view might be, I encourage people with any sense of sensitivity not to go until they understand that everybody has the right to enjoy it.

This onsen is quite special, since it is one of the few in which swim wear is allowed - even mandatory. Men and women share the same pool and the friendly staff charges 300 yen entrance fee. As a reward, you'll have an amazing panoramic view of the ocean, including a sunset you quite haven't experienced before.

An excellent onsen - swimwear is required, but you can borrow swimming shorts from the booth where you pay your entrance fee! We came here for sunset, and the views over the ocean (even to mount Fuji on a clear day) are spectacular. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Lovely mixed gender open air bath right on the ocean with the waves crashing just below. Bathing suit required, rare for onsen but means you can go in with friends and family of different genders.
