元名の鉱泉 (野湯)

The end point of the Satoyama Walking Hosono Motona Course. It was a shame that the weeds were so overgrown. The mineral spring trickles out like spring water and smells metallic when you touch it. The water overflowing from the yellow tank seems to contain sulfur, but it looks unsanitary. We gave up on the Umanose Course, a mountain path walking route, as fallen trees had not been removed and no footprints were visible. We returned to the paved road. You can drive to the nearby Motona village, but the road is narrow and passing other vehicles can be a hassle.
Thursday, January 20, 2022 I drove to Motome Hot Springs on Prefectural Route 34. The road was packed with regular cars! You had to back off and give way to oncoming vehicles. The road was paved, but about 1km before the hot springs, the width of the road was filled to the brim with regular cars. 😅 The parking lot looked like it could fit about four cars. 👍 The sulfur-scented hot spring water was free and unlimited. 🥰♨️💕💕💕
I recommend it because the view is great
It's located deep in the mountains.
The mineral springs had dried up
