Visited on December 31, 2025. The parking lot directly below the facility was spacious and free to park in. Bathing costs 400 yen per person, paid in cash to the receptionist. The entrance is designed like the entrance to a house, and only allows one person at a time, making it a truly local hot spring. The passage to the bath is tunnel-like, and the gentle smell of the hot spring is enveloping, which is exciting. The changing room has a shelf with changing baskets, 100-yen lockers (note that you don't get your money back), and one small sink. There are no hair dryers or amenities. There are four washing areas inside. The shower can be left running, which was a nice touch. There is only one bathtub, so the facility is very compact overall. There is no equipment rack, so please keep your belongings to a minimum. It is also difficult to store towels. The hot water has an alkaline ion pH of 8.97. It is so slippery that your buttocks will slip easily in the tub. Hot water is constantly poured into the bathtub using a powered water pump, and although it doesn't have much force, it is a properly flowing hot spring. There was a faint smell of sulfur. After bathing, there is a drinking corner tucked away in a corner of the rest area between the hot spring passage and the hot spring reception, where you can enjoy properly cooled hot spring water after your bath! It's easy to miss, so be sure to look for it! It also seemed that multiple-use tickets were available.

My favorite hot spring Admission fee: ¥400 for adults I went in at 7:00 PM on a weekday. There were four locals there. The water is slightly cloudy, but colorless and transparent, with almost no scent. It's highly alkaline at pH 8.98, which makes it feel a little slimy on the skin. The temperature is listed as 38.5°C, but it felt like 41-42°C. After 10 minutes of shoulder-deep immersion, I felt hot enough to overheat. There are four showers, but no shampoo or body soap is provided. If it were nearby, I'd definitely be a regular here. I loved the water and the atmosphere. I recommend it for tourists too. I'll come again!

This hot spring is located next to the Mamakuni Roadside Station. It is open from 11:00 AM. The parking lot is large and paved, making it easy to use. The fee is 400 yen, paid at reception. Fresh local vegetables are sold next to the reception. There are no amenities, but soap, hair dryers, and fans are provided. There is one simple indoor bath, and the water is a little hot. There is a warning sign, but please be careful as the floor is slippery due to the hot spring's ingredients. Lockers are available, but there is a fee. The chilled hot spring water in the rest area after the bath was mild and easy to drink.

It's right next to a roadside station and has a large parking lot. The water is thick enough that it's almost slippery when wet, and it's lukewarm enough that you could easily soak for a long time, but it warmed my body quickly and was a very pleasant hot spring. However, there was no hair dryer in the changing room, and there was only one hair dryer in a color box next to a small mirror on the left wall in the rest room (a unisex Japanese-style room) next to the reception. It's free to use, but using a hair dryer after getting dressed is a bit...💦

The bath area is in a separate building from the reception. Drinkable hot spring water is available in the rest area for you to drink after your bath, but you can also purchase it at the reception for 20 yen per liter. 😉
