[October 29, 2024] The main reason for my visit to Chiba this time was to try out the Dragon Sauna. I came to compare it with the hot air auto-louver sauna at nearby Minami-Kashiwa Natural Hot Springs Sumire. But... the facility is impressive! The location is great, of course, and the interior is spacious and comfortable. (But it gets pretty crowded even on weekday evenings. I imagine it'll be tough on weekends and holidays. 🤔) Now, as for the Dragon Sauna itself, once I entered the sauna room, it was indeed hot, more than just hot. Then, at 00 minutes past the hour, the auto-louvering of the five large sauna stoves inside began, accompanied by Bruce Lee's theme song from "Enter the Dragon." As soon as the super-hot air started circulating, people started leaving the upper berths... The two-minute entertainment was absolutely amazing! 👍️ The cold bath afterwards was a frosty 8.2°C. No wonder my heart was pounding so fast. This must be a must-see for sauna lovers! 🤔 Also, the bathing area is more compact than I expected, but it's packed with a variety of baths. It's crowded, though. 😆 The facility is new, and it's fun with all sorts of innovative ideas. I envy the residents of Nagareyama. 😎

This is my fourth visit to Ryusenji-no-Yu. Until now, Yokohama was my top choice, but it's no wonder it won the Nifty popularity poll. It took me two hours on the highway from my house to get there. I'd seen it on the website, but the auto-low-low experience was truly impressive. The dragon-low-low experience is once every 30 minutes, so I'd like to experience it multiple times. The self-low-low sauna, however, is small. I was happy to see a salt sauna, which isn't often seen these days, but unfortunately it was broken and didn't heat up at all, so I left early. The cold bath and carbonated spring bath were both great, but the price is a bit high compared to other Ryusenji baths. Parking always costs 100 yen, so the total bill comes to 1200 yen. I'd definitely like to go again if I have the chance.

Huge and spacious Three types of saunas ¥1,100 on weekdays, ¥100 parking I arrived at 3 PM on a weekday, and it was pretty crowded! It seems like it's going to be even worse on weekends. I'm also worried about infections. Pros: It definitely leaves you feeling refreshed. Cons: Without an explanation, first-time visitors can get lost, especially if they're driving. Also, reading other reviews, the locker keys aren't the same as the lockers, and they're first-come, first-served, so on weekends, it can be difficult to get into the bath. Overall, it was good, but those who live far away and have a car might be hesitant to return.

Compared to other stores in the same series, the bedrock bath lounge and relaxation space seem smaller. It was crowded even on weekdays, making it difficult to find a space to rest. I planned to take a shower and leave around 6pm, but the washing area was very crowded, and I ended up waiting for over 20 minutes. Good points: The massage chair is cheap at 300 yen. It's close to the station. The crane game for sweets has a sweet setting.
