滑川海洋深層水足湯

It's located on the rooftop deck of the Wave Park Namerikawa roadside station. Facing the Sea of Japan, on a clear day you can see the entire Toyama Bay, from Kurobe in the east to Himi in the west and the Noto Peninsula in the north. The footbath uses deep-sea water and is very warm. The footbath areas are individually partitioned and clean. It's also well-maintained. Soaking your feet in the footbath while gazing at the sea is incredibly relaxing.

Heading out to the ocean side of the facility and up the stairs, you'll find a foot bath using deep sea water. Open from late April to mid-October, but closed in winter. Business hours are 10:00-16:00, but please note that there are closed days. In spring and autumn, only warm seawater is available, and in summer, both cold and warm seawater are available. A contribution of 100 yen is required.

As you climb the slope, the Noto Peninsula on the opposite shore, which has been blocked by the embankment, opens up as far as the eye can see – great! The footbath was closed due to a "No Entry" sign.

The water was a little hot, but very pleasant. The breeze coming in from the sea made it cool even though it was midsummer. The ocean view was amazing!

It seems the foot bath will not be back in operation. It was closed. However, the view of Toyama Bay was beautiful.
