What happened to the comment about the argument between guest K. Kobayashi, whose boiler was turned off early, and the innkeeper? Did you actually request that it be deleted? It was a fun experience, so it's a shame! Here's an excerpt... "It was still cold after a while, so I put my hand to the air conditioner vent, but it felt underpowered. When I told the innkeeper (in his 80s) that the air conditioner wasn't working properly, he replied (holding the remote), "It's set to 30 degrees, though." Before dinner, I complained again, "The air conditioner really isn't working properly," but he refused to listen, saying, "It's cold around here, so it's to be expected."

"We can do a simple kaiseki meal," he said, but it was just grilled salted saury, kamaboko (fish paste), tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) and an assortment of pickles. I was waiting for tempura or chawanmushi to be brought out, but he said, "That's all." And all this for 3,000 yen! It's not at all different from the "saury set meal" I have at a nearby restaurant for lunch. In fact, you can get a "saury set meal" at a restaurant for around 600 yen! And he said, "I'm going to pick up the next customer, so please finish up quickly"... What the heck?

The bath was a little hot at first, but filling it with water made it comfortable. The drainage in the washing area was a little unstable. 😅 The botanical hotpot was delicious, with beautifully cooked wild boar meat, plenty of vegetables, and the sea bream with head and tail was also delicious. It was a trip for seven men celebrating their 70th birthdays, and the value for money was also good.

I went to a hot spring resort on a motorcycle trip, but it was closed. When I called, they said they don't accept solo customers. That wasn't written anywhere. They said it wouldn't be profitable for a single person. They probably only care about money, so you definitely shouldn't go there. The guy who answered the phone had a terrible attitude. I'm never going there again.

I used the hot springs for a day trip. Despite what other people have said, the service was great and I was able to bathe at the perfect temperature. The retro atmosphere made me feel nostalgic. Thank you very much 😊 It would have been even better if the room temperature in the lobby was a little warmer!
