Natural Hot Springs Sabou No Yu

Guests staying at the Hilton hotel can enter the onsen for free, but you do need your room key card to open the doors to enter. There isn’t any staff there to open the door for you so don’t forget your key card! The locker/changing area is clean, bright, and spacious. There are free bath towels and face towels to use. Other than the locker area, the wet area isn’t that big at all, which was a surprise. There’s a big pool in doors, a relatively small outdoor pool and a sauna. As with any place, there’s shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for use. After taking a bath, I found there is a lack of facial products (no toner, etc.) for use in the men’s section. There were a bunch of hair and scalp products (no wax or gel) though. Nothing too special.

The lady at the reception desk for the hot stone bath has an attitude that is unbelievable for a service industry establishment. While the young girl is smiling and responsive, the lady doesn't smile at all! She can't say thank you or sorry. I've used the service many times and am a repeat customer, but the other day when I finished and was putting on my shoes she asked me to return the key, and when I told her it was in the basket, she just sighed and disappeared without saying anything. I can't believe that this kind of customer service is allowed in a hotel! On days when this lady is there I feel sick even when I go to relax, so I may not use the service again in the future.

Visited for a day trip to the hot springs ♨️ The spa building receptionist kindly explained the process and we moved from the first floor to the third floor. The changing rooms were clean. The lockers had a custom-coded lock system, and you locked and unlocked them by turning the dial. The only downside might be that it might be difficult for older people to understand. The baths were quite salty because they were close to the ocean ♨️ I was warm enough to break a sweat even after a while. The bath area had one indoor bath, one open-air bath, one cold bath, and a sauna. I imagine the view outside would be beautiful on a sunny day.

Not a tattoo friendly onsen, but they did not let us know that before going in. We paid for it first and they didn’t even let us know

It's nice that guests can use it for free. The bath is small. I'd be happy if there were more types.
