Even indoors, the spacious bath is surrounded by rocks and features a ceiling window that lets you feel the outdoors. ◆A sauna with just the right temperature (80-95°C) for a deep steam. ■■■■■■■■■■■ ・I had been avoiding this hot spring facility because it didn't have an open-air bath. ・However, it was a very cold day. I figured that resting in the open-air space wouldn't be an option, so I decided to visit Niiza Onsen, which doesn't have an open-air bath. ・In conclusion, it was amazing. It was a day that made me vow to myself to make it a regular occurrence! ◆A well-equipped rest space that can be used just with the admission fee. ・From the standard dining room to tables, counters, tatami rooms, areas to lie down and even spaces to nap. ・An extremely well-equipped rest space. ・It seems like you could spend a whole day enjoying the facility with just the admission fee. ・I checked in in the afternoon, worked for 2-3 hours, and then enjoyed a sauna to finish off the day. ◆It's like an open-air bath?! The Yutori-yu bath, surrounded by rocks and with windows in the ceiling, lets you feel the outdoors even indoors. ・I had been hesitant to visit because it only has an indoor bath, but once I actually took a bath, I thought, "Why hadn't I come before?!" It's a wonderful hot spring facility. ・While it's true that it only has an indoor bath, the windows in the ceiling allow you to feel the natural light, and the main Yutori-yu bath, surrounded by rocks, feels just like an open-air bath. ・The Yutori-yu bath, which is thought to have been formed from transformed ancient seawater, is so beautiful in color and texture that it is known as "black water." - There are also lukewarm "silk baths" and "sleeping baths," so you can enjoy the hot springs at your own pace. ◆ The sauna is just the right temperature (80-95 degrees) for thorough steaming. - The sauna is neither lukewarm nor too hot, just the right temperature, so after 10 minutes of thorough steaming, you'll have plenty of steam. - The cold water bath is around 17 degrees, which I personally like as it's a comfortable temperature without being too cold. - The luxury of being able to fully relax in the indoor bath chair and then soak in the hot spring again. Wonderful. - Work → Warm-up × Sauna → Rest. I had the best day off at Niiza Onsen. - Overall, I regret not having visited Niiza Onsen until now, and I want to visit it regularly. - From now on, I plan to visit more frequently when I have the time. ■Date Saturday, November 1st, 2025 Visited at 9:00 AM ■Access Approximately 25 minutes on foot from Niiza Station The path is flat, so it's walkable. ■Crowd/Lockers About 10 men Slightly noticeable odor... The facility entrance is on the first floor, and the hot spring is down a flight of stairs. The path leading to the hot spring smells somewhat like cigarette smoke. ■Hot Spring/Price Sodium bicarbonate-chloride spring / 900 yen Only an indoor bath, but light comes in from the ceiling. The hot spring water is black, odorless, and feels smooth on the skin. The temperature is 42℃. Tiny particles adhere to the skin. Besides the indoor bath, there is also a pure white bubble bath. It seemed a bit unsanitary, with various things floating on the surface, perhaps because the water hadn't been refilled. Looking closely, it's unclear whether the hot spring water had been refilled... I'm not sure. The spring is said to have a flow rate of 300 liters per minute, but I couldn't find the source. The sauna was spacious and felt quite hot. The cold plunge pool was 18℃. ■Amenities Shampoo/Body soap: Available Hair dryer: Available Lotion, etc.: Skin lotion available Other: None ■Overall I was bothered by the smell of the facility. The hot spring was fine because I went early in the morning, but it was unclear if the water was being replenished, so I was concerned about the dirtiness after many people had used it. It's a shame there's no open-air bath.

The building has an old feel, but the inside is neat and tidy. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and due to the bad weather, it was empty. There are no open-air baths, but there are four types of baths with different temperatures, so you can relax in them. The black hot spring in particular had a smooth texture and warmed my body, which felt great! The sauna room was quite spacious with a TV and was just the right temperature (or hot?). The cold bath was also fairly large and not too cold, so it felt great, but when about four people were in it at the same time, the water overflowed and puddles formed around the drain, so I think they could improve the water absorption capacity. There are plenty of washing areas, so you probably won't have to wait. The rest area is spacious, with chairs, mats, and low tables, so you can relax and lounge around after your bath. There are also manga available. There is also a restaurant, massages, body scrubs, and other services, so I thought it was a better facility than I expected. It wasn't crowded and I was able to relax, so I'd like to go again.

This day-trip hot spring is located in Niiza City. It's not close to the station, so we recommend going by car. [Points] 1. The parking lot is quite large. You'll probably never have trouble finding a spot. 2. While the facilities are a little old, they offer a variety of dining options, rest areas (where you can get a good night's sleep), and relaxation options, including a large selection of manga. 3. As for the hot spring itself, while there isn't an open-air bath, the quality of the hot spring water and the sense of openness are impeccable. The sauna is large enough to fit about 20 people, and the cold water bath is very refreshing. 4. Because it's far from the station, it's relatively quiet on weekdays. It's not noisy, so you can soak in the bath in peace. Personally, I think it's a hidden gem among Saitama Prefecture's hot springs.

It was quiet during the daytime on a weekday. I liked that there were plenty of rest areas. There were hardly any young customers. The jacuzzi was lukewarm at 37 degrees Celsius, which was good for me since I tend to get overheated easily. My only complaint is that it was a little chilly inside, so I couldn't sleep well and decided to leave early. I wish they had light blankets available for rent. The restaurants were generally reasonably priced and delicious. The seating was also spacious. I went there by bicycle from the Spadium side, and the nature-filled walking trail along the way was very pleasant.
