Nōmizo Falls and Kameiwa Cave

I love hot springs and enjoy day trips to hot springs. The quality of the hot springs here is soft, smooth on the skin, and warms you from the inside out. It was wonderful! The water is free-flowing from the source, so you can really feel the warming effects. Staying hydrated is essential. The bathroom and changing room are not very large, and there are only four washing areas, so it's best to avoid busy times and be considerate of others when using the baths. The shower water isn't very hot, but it's best to go with the mindset that it's all about the hot springs and warming up. This place feels like a hidden gem known only to those in the know. Personally, I appreciate being able to bathe in 100% free-flowing hot spring water. It's small, so it has a homey feel, and is best suited to those who value the quality of the hot springs rather than the atmosphere. The receptionist was very friendly, and I enjoyed my stay. Their mascot dog was adorable. I'd love to go again.

An very old day use hot mineral spring (Onsen) which has a very soft and light brown colored water. Somehow google shows here as an hotel, but it is not. Day use Onsen only place. The building and taps were very old and the bath size was small, probably full with 4,5 people. But the scenery was good, you can see the river and the cliff in front of the bath, and the mineral water warmth me from the center of my body. Note that they don't have any locker in the dressing room, so you should better leave your wallets and watches in the locker at the entrance or in your car.

Located at the entrance to the Noumizo falls, Senju No yu is a small onsen that provides a good sodium bicarbonated spring water - recommended for softening the skin and treating skin diseases. It has a light amber color and a subtle sulfur smell. It's a bit pricy (1,000 yen per adult, 500 yen per child) for what it offers and the facilities are a bit shabby, but it's still worth visiting after spending the day hiking in the area. It's open until 9PM.

The entrance fee was 1,000 yen. There was only one bath, but even though it was slippery, it left my skin feeling smooth. It's a hot spring I'd like to return to. Towels were also lent out for free. The only amenities provided were rinse-in shampoo and body soap, so it's probably best to bring your own.

Neat natural onsen with a pretty view into the forested creek. Contains one small bath per gender with 4 shower seats. A tad hotter than usual, but not bad. Nice chillout room with library and cold water in the back. Kind of expensive at 1000 yen though.
