Nukumori no Yu

I stayed overnight after a business trip. I wanted to photograph the cranes in Izumi, and there was a hot spring, so I stayed. The room rate, 6,000 yen including tax, was a bargain. There was also a large parking lot. The hot spring is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The room had Wi-Fi and a refrigerator, but no razor. The parking lot was large. I wanted to go photographing cranes early in the morning, but they closed late at night, so they told me which door to use. I was told the hot spring was lukewarm, but it was just right for me. Also, there is an electric bath, so be careful not to touch it carelessly, as it can cause numbness. The hotel's weaknesses are: 1) there are no early morning baths for guests, and 2) breakfast is only served from 9:00 AM. 3) When I connected to the hotel's Wi-Fi, I got a warning from my security software saying "Port scan blocked." I've traveled all over the country on car camping trips and have used a lot of bathing facilities, but here at Nukumori no Yu, the shoe lockers at the entrance are clean and odorless, the shelves in the changing room are in good condition, the floor mats for after bathing are in good condition, and the cleanliness of the facility is the best of any other bathing facility, at a very high level! I was impressed. The staff are extremely thorough in their cleaning, and the hot water is good, and the bathroom tiles, floor, and bathtub are free of scratches and stains, making it hygienic. What's more, the price is cheap at 460 yen for adults, so overall it's the best bathing facility I've ever been to! It was great. I'd like to come again.

I came here after seeing the cranes and having lunch. I had been outside for about two hours, so my body was chilly. I was able to warm up nicely. Not only the exterior, but the inside was also very clean, which was nice. Shampoos, which are usually placed in the washing area, were kept in small baskets and only available to those who needed them. They were returned after use. It seems to be a very efficient way of working. The open-air bath is small, but there was a large space for those getting their hair done. There was also an electric bath and a kind of bath for reclining. Personally, I think it would be more relaxing if the water temperature was a little lower. I would also like a water dispenser.

Great onsen! It had a small restaurant, hotel rooms, lots of vending machines and the onsen itself was beautiful and nice inside. The onsen pool was split into multiple areas: relax area, jet area, pulse bath and deeper pool area for sitting. I tried them all and loved them. It also had a sauna. However, bring your own bath stuff or lots of money. The only thing included in the entry fee is shampoo/rinse and body soap. Towels, hair brushes, etc all cost extra. Using the hair dryer costs 30yen for 3 minutes. Overall, great experience. The staff were really friendly.

A day trip to the baths cost 460 yen. I decided to go because it was a natural hot spring and incredibly cheap, but I wasn't sure which hot spring it was. The sign in the changing room said that the baths had added water, heated water, chlorinated water, and were filtered and circulated. Also, all the baths were a bit loose, so it was difficult to warm up. The baths are reasonably sized, so they might be good for relaxing with children. There were about eight shelves of manga in the waiting area.
