Nunobiki Onsen Komoro

TATTOOS ALLOWED! We stayed in an outfitted trailer that was wonderfully comfortable! A “tiny home” vibe complete with a 4-seat dining table, two separate sleeping lofts, each can sleep 2, kettle and mini fridge, and a couple seating areas. It also has a large front porch area. It was so nice to have this privacy! And you can just walk into the main hotel for anything you need. And I’d say that, for me, the best part was the onsen! There is an indoor and outdoor pool with a fantastic view of the mountains. And… there TATTOO FRIENDLY!!! They also have a breakfast and dinner package you can opt into. We opted into breakfasts. Delicious,nutritious, wholesome japanese style breakfast after a some soothing onsen time is just right. Also, it’s only a 25 minute drive to the unique town of karuizawa where there is plenty of touring to be had. 10/10 recommend.

The building is old but clean, and the hot springs are amazing, with views of the Asama mountain range from the open-air bath. The indoor baths are available in both hot and warm, allowing for long soaks. Above all, the hospitality is excellent, and the transfers and other arrangements were made to suit our needs as much as possible. The meals are made with plenty of local vegetables and have a gentle flavor, making this an inn I would like to visit again and again.

My family and I visited this Onsen hotel for one night. It was a great and relaxing experience, perfect getaway from the city to enjoy some quiet time and nature. The facility was very clean and well kept. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I would recommend this on hotel or anyone who is looking for relaxation in the nature.

The building itself is old, but the new management has thoroughly inspected the small details and faded parts and replaced or exchanged them, which was great. The food was delicious, but it was a shame that we couldn't add ons. I'll be staying again next year, so I look forward to seeing you again.

Came here for the onsen. (I think visitors are allowed to use it until 7 PM, after that it's reserved for hotel guests) Extremely nice people, and beautiful open view. Not a ginormous complex with 10+ baths but it is big enough that you should feel comfortable.
