The sawdust bath was great! It cost 1,800 yen per person. After drinking an enzyme drink, we changed into the special yukata robes and spent 15 minutes in a full-body bath and 5 minutes in a half-body bath (20 minutes total). We entered the sawdust bath. If it was too hot, they would adjust the temperature and gently wipe away any sweat from our faces. A female staff member would let us know when our bath was over, and after we got out, we brushed off the sawdust and took a shower (shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser were provided). After changing into the special bathrobe, we applied a face mask with two types of enzyme serum. It was my first time, but I feel like my skin became so smooth. The bath is located in a residential area, so it may be difficult to find without a navigation system. All of the female staff members who helped me were very kind.
The sawdust you bury yourself in apparently reaches 70 degrees Celsius through fermentation alone, without the use of electricity or gas. The temperature is apparently highest first thing in the morning. You put on the red top and bottoms and a cap and are buried in the sawdust for around 15 minutes. When you shower afterwards, you can use Otaka Enzyme shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser. I liked the facial cleanser because it was so easy to wash with. They also sell the skin care products used here. I was able to use the skin care products after the sauna. It really warmed my body and felt great. It felt like a detox! It had a unique feel that was neither a sauna nor a sand bath, and I really liked it, so I'd like to go back sometimes
Super awesome! This is the most unique experience... There are enzyme sand baths, enzyme DIY masks, enzyme drinks... Really great! After washing, I was drenched in sweat all over...amazing! I'm not a fan of saunas, but this one is fine. First, I drink the enzymes, then I soak up to my neck for 15 minutes, then I stay there for 5 minutes to get used to it, then I wash off the sawdust, and then it's time for a face mask. Since it's a detox facility, there don't seem to be any drink vending machines. I don't think there's a food menu either. There are set bathing times, but you can tell you're sweating a lot. I felt very refreshed when I came out. It's a bit pricey at 1,800 yen, but I'd like to come here once in a while.
🧖♀️Great!!! 🧖♀️ The fee was ¥1,800 per session, but it was a very reasonable price, including: • A pre-bath enzyme drink • A post-bath enzyme pack • A wide variety of amenities. I couldn't get anything like this in Tokyo for that price, so I was very happy. And most of all, I was soothed by the friendly service of the staff. ♪ The lady managing the sawdust was especially kind and efficient, and did a great job. ♪ Thank you ♪ The customers were mostly locals, and the lobby had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. ♪
