This time, at Ryokuho on the left side, there was a reclining bath that wasn't there last time, where you could lie down on a sofa-like surface, which really enhanced the view in front of me. However, the temperature was a little high this time, both the indoor and outdoor baths, and I personally prefer lukewarm water, so I couldn't stay in the bath for long, which was a bit disappointing. Also, unlike last time, the number of customers increased halfway through, and by the time I left, the changing lockers were full. With so many customers, you might not be able to relax as much on weekends. R5.10 First time using the men's bath today, which was a day trip, with the blue axis. Since we arrived before the 11:00 opening time, we decided to kill time at the Umeshu Brewery Oyama next door. The interior was very clean, there was a decent selection of products, and there were even tastings, so it was surprisingly enjoyable and the time flew by. I visited on a Saturday, and there was no one there when I arrived, but by 11:00, about 10 lockers had arrived. There is a shoe locker with a lock on the left as soon as you enter the building. You put a 100 yen coin in it, but it comes back when you leave. The lockers in the changing rooms have free locks, and the open shelf next to them was surprisingly convenient. The open-air bath is not small, but it feels a little spacious. The view is great, as everyone has mentioned, and it would be even better during the autumn foliage season. The sauna is spacious, with two L-shaped levels and can probably fit about 10 people. The water temperature in both the indoor and outdoor baths was not too hot, but just right for me to relax in. If you like hotter hot springs like Beppu hot springs, it might be a little disappointing. By the way, the au antenna poles inside the building were barely standing up and would get stuck, which was inconvenient. Umehibiki, please ask au to fix this lol. The only thing I liked was the plum scent in the open-air bath.

I used this hot spring for a day trip while on a tour. The facility is very clean and the amenities are great. The hot spring has one large indoor bath and one open-air bath. The view from the open-air bath is very open. The water is quite hot, so it might be most comfortable in the cooler months. There is a sauna and cold bath as well, but it would have been better if there were some rest chairs in the open-air bath.
