Onsen Yumorinosato

This is a great onsen to check out after walking around the Jindai Botanical garden. Like most onsens it’s segregated for men and women. You pay by time and pay after. Shoes are removed when you go in and there are shoe lockers. You check in, get a locker, extras like towels can be paid for. The men’s side has a variety of hot baths at different temperature. The ambience is very peaceful, be respectful and remain quiet or if you do talk (which is allowed) try to keep it at lower volume and be respectful of everyone using the bath. There is also a single tub and another one outdoors with a large number of rubber duckies (quite therapeutic). There also a steam room that is really hot so watch out! Before jumping into the tubs, make sure you rinse off in either the showers or the seated showers. Shampoo, soap and conditioner are provided. The public space for the bath has massage, a restaurant and outdoor space. There is also a pet bunny running around so give the lil rabbit a friendly pet!

This unassuming little place looks a bit derelict upon approach. But it contains a real gem inside. The staff were patient and friendly. You can hire towels there or bring your own. There is a cafe inside but it only had two or three items on the menu (we didn’t try it) There showers and a large indoor onsen. The outside area has 3 separate onsen at different temperatures and an electricity bath. ( which is the weirdest thing I have tried… Think wearing that electric abdominal muscle suit whilst In the bath) and there is a wet salt sauna. Just be careful in the outdoor onsen. The water is opaque and there are stones jutting out of the sides under the water. Easy to bash your feet as you get in and out. It is a lovely setting and truly relaxing. A definitely must if you’d like a mid-week break from it all. There is also some massage and relaxation options available. But I didn’t try those either. Unfortunately I Can’t upload photos from inside for obvious reasons.

I was in the area visiting a local temple and found myself wanting to relax from the scorching hot day. Looking around I found a natural onsen of black water and thought why not give it a try. A wash up and soak in an onsen would be great after standing out in the sun for hours. After a 10 min walk I found myself here ready to relax. And it was very relaxing as entry was smooth, the water was hot and soothing, and they had a rabbit to welcome guests. Definitely worth revisiting next time I am in the area.

I came here to relax after watching the opening match of the J League in 26 years. It's too cold today. But this hot spring sweeps away all the cold. There is a large outdoor hot spring, a cold water pool, a sauna, and a large rest area. The cute rabbit in the rest area on the first floor is very popular with children. There is a shuttle bus to pick up guests at the station. It's a good experience.wish to come back again👍

What a lovely and traditional onsen with natural water. Every bath has a different temperature, so anyone can enjoy the one they like. It can get crowded, especially on the weekend, as the place is not that big, but I definitely recommend chilling in the break area (with the mascot rabbit) or enjoying a comforting meal in the restaurant located on the second floor ♨️
