I went to soak my feet in the footbath, but it's currently closed for renovations. Just as I was about to leave, a cat appeared next to me! So cute! It must be a female that lives nearby, because she came over as if she knew she was going to be petted. I was so moved to be petting a cat after so long. So relaxing...! It appeared and disappeared without me noticing, so maybe it was a reincarnation of the hermit Rishū, or a messenger of Yakushi Nyorai...

Addendum: Information added to the city hall website. The hot spring stand was open on April 10th. The water temperature has also increased. As of March 2022, repairs have been completed and the hot spring is open again. It costs 100 yen for 100 liters. The water is a sodium calcium chloride hot spring with a temperature of 35°C, so if you are using it at home, it is best to adjust the temperature by adding hot water.

Although it produces good hot water, it has been broken for a long time and has been unusable. As of September 4, 2020, it has been unusable for about three months. I don't know if they have any intention of repairing it, but being able to enjoy a hot spring at home during the COVID-19 pandemic is very valuable. Please allocate a budget to have it repaired.

I was able to see beautiful autumn leaves. December 7, 2024. There is a foot bath and a gohei mochi shop nearby, so it's a wonderful place.
