Rooms were great. Incredible water pressure in the shower. Complementary toiletries were more than adequate. The continental breakfast was excellent our first stay, but a little less excellent our second time. As an American, the served bacon should be nice and crispy. Can honestly say that in my 51 years of living in the US, never had soggy flappy bacon before, and cannot say I am a fan. The green curry was not green curry, standard Japanese curry. Their shrimp spring rolls were tops!! If they serve scrambled eggs, they were some of the best I have ever had. Pineapple was fresh and excellent both times. My kids loved the pancakes, and their coffee/ hot cocoa dispenser machine was incredible. Update to your response. Again, excellence as your establishment actually considers reviews, that virtue is dead in America. I don’t mean to sound so critical, as Santa Monica’s breakfast has been the best I have ever experienced, with respect to a TRUE continental breakfast! Seriously. Just saying that some dishes could be a bit more authentic and tidied up a bit. If you all are unopposed, the next time I come, I wouldn’t mind giving some pointers. I understand that the cuisine is tailored to a vast tongue, but I love the hotel and would like to see it as the best.
The beautiful smile of Ms. Nakamoto left such a warm impression — she was truly lovely and welcoming. I was also truly impressed by the kindness of Mr. Yang — he was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! I stayed on the first floor and didn’t see any insects during my stay, which was great. The breakfast selection was excellent, though it was a bit disappointing that the restaurant wasn’t open for lunch or dinner. Having plenty of washing machines available made things really convenient. The private beach connected to the parking area was beautiful — not very large, but calm and lovely, with fish swimming in the clear water. It was also nice that I could buy ramen, alcohol, and coffee at the front desk; it would be even better if there were a bit more variety available. Since I didn’t rent a car, it was very convenient to use the shuttle, tuk-tuk, and airport shuttle services, and even taxis through the DiDi app were easy to get. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay — thank you! 🌺✨
Amazing hotel for a 3-star. Modern and spacious, both the room and the bathroom. Absolutely recommended. The breakfast was as good as many 5-stars we see around the world. The Halloween buffet dinner was also fun and delicious. The hotel has a huge parking lot, easy to find a slot for your rental car. It´s not located by the main beaches of the island but an easy 15 minutes drive will take you to the famous "Miyako Blue" beaches you see. This hotel is part of a group of several other hotels and restaurants close-by, all connected by a free shuttle service with a good and compreensive schedule until after dinner times. We tried several different restaurants, and although not cheap for Japanese standards, they all had amazing food and service. Definetely a place to go back to once we´re back Miyakojima.
The breakfast was AWESOME, the staff are kind, and the room is adequate with everything we need. My husband LOVED the washroom setup. My daughter loves the pink swing by the pool :) The lady (from Indonesia? her name starts with a T) was lovely- the check-in experience was fantastic. Beach towels need to be rented out at 100 yen a pop. We’re at its sister hotel right now, Hotel Breezebay Marina, and it’s safe to say that the breakfast at Hot Cross Point tastes better and has more selection. Hot Cross Point is also nearly not as busy, so the environment is much more enjoyable with far fewer people. We forgot our chromecast in the room after checking out and were able to get it back 2 days later. Loved it here! Highly recommend.
I had a great time in this hotel. It is part of a resort chain that has hotels in all of the south area of Miyakojima. The room had a decent size and comfortable beds, and the hotel provided bottled water each day. The touch of adding the origami bird and the welcoming letter is something that I really liked. The hotel has a great breakfast buffer that focuses on Okinawa and Japanese cuisine, but it also has more occidental dishes. There is also a swimming pool and a sauna but I never used them. The hotel also provides free parking for Shigira Beach. Free parking at the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly too. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Primitive springs don’t come with towels. A quick-dry towel, water shoes, and a headlamp for the walk back all pack small.
