Otaki Onsen Yuyukan

I visited on a Saturday in early September. The price seems to be different on weekends and weekdays, but it was 800 yen on the Saturday I visited (PayPay can be used). The hot spring has a cypress bath on the upper floor and a rock bath on the lower floor. It has a slightly unusual layout; once you pass through the changing room, you go downstairs to the cypress bath, but if you go downstairs naked after the cypress bath, for some reason there is another changing room and the rock bath 😅. The spring water leaves your skin feeling smooth♪ The lockers at the entrance cost 100 yen (you get your money back). The lockers in the changing room do not cost 100 yen. Another nice thing is that you can come and go as you please if you say something at the reception♪

A hidden Gem nested in the mountain. Visited as early as their opening time and it was pretty much vacant, so I got the place to myself and I enjoyed it a lot. Very basic facility. Everything was clean. The water wasn’t very warm, and it leaves your skin feeling soft. They offer shampoo and shower gel but bring your own towel. I have a small tattoo, and they pretty much didn’t ask. Not sure about their policy though.

It's a bit old, but I like it, especially the outside views from the bath. I would strongly recommend to give it a try if not many cars are parked, as it's a bit small place. Also, you get 100 yen off when you park your car at Mitsumine shrine car park (520 yen).

260222 A great place to stop by on your way back from visiting Mitsumine Shrine, said to be one of the most powerful power spots in the Kanto region. The alkaline pH value of 9.1 is no joke. An exquisite spring.

Facility is a bit older but the bath is really nice. There is an indoor and semi-outdoors bath that is really nice. Very convenient for a michi no eki
