There are many great day-trip hot springs around Yonago, but if you're unsure where to go, this is a surefire choice. The price is a very reasonable 550 yen for a normal public bath. There's also a family bath. There's ample free parking, making it easy to get to by car. The water contains the salty water unique to Kaike Onsen, which feels great on the skin. The baths are spacious, and there's an open-air bath and carbonated spring, exceeding the quality of a typical public bath and making it truly a super public bath. The facility also has a restaurant, massage parlor, and barber shop, and there's even a corner at the entrance where you can make boiled eggs. The men's and women's baths are sometimes switched daily or for a limited time, so you can enjoy it no matter how many times you visit. The sauna is an additional charge, but it's spacious and the cold water bath is deep and large, which is an added attraction. As this is a public bath, body soap and shampoo are not provided. Please bring your own. They are also available for purchase. You can get a membership card for 800 yen, which will discount various things like bathing fees, but if you're just sightseeing or using it occasionally, the regular price should be sufficient. If you're looking for good value for money with body soap, shampoo, and a sauna included, we recommend the nearby Shio no Yu. If you're looking for a spacious sauna and a cold bath, Kaike Oyu Land is by far the best choice.

First time in Tottori! I stopped off here on a day trip. It's near the sea and in a lovely, relaxing location. The facilities are quite extensive, but the prices are reasonable. There's also a sauna, and you can even try Korean body scrubbing. I arrived from Yonago Airport with no plans, and it was so comfortable that I almost ended up just stopping here. After a short stroll along the coast and a relaxing soak in the hot springs, I watched the sunset over Lake Shinji and had a delicious meal before heading home. It turns out it's not bad to get there 😊

It was a little after 5:30 PM on Saturday. The large parking lot was full of cars. Adults: 550 yen, elementary school students: 200 yen, children under 100 yen. Sauna is extra. Soap and shampoo are not provided in the bathhouse, so you need to bring your own; they seem to be sold inside the building as well. Most of the customers seemed to be families. There was a single rabbit statue in the large glass-enclosed courtyard. I wonder if it's meant to represent the White Rabbit of Inaba. It was a nice bath. 2025/07/19

Cheap, good amount of bathes but very busy during holidays and holiday weekends. Also, I was told that this is a "salt water" onsen as opposed to a "natural mineral water" onsen. Still a great value for a public bath house (onsen) in my opinion.

Thanks to the hot springs here, all my travel fatigue was relieved. It costs 550 yen per adult. The bath area is quite large, and they also sell towels and soap.
