Rinkokan

It's worth the price. The bath was larger and cleaner than I expected. However, I was a little worried about the open-air bath as people could look into it from outside and from the building. I only stayed overnight so I don't know about the food, but it was sufficient. The location along the river was lovely. The building is old, so the Wi-Fi in the room didn't work well, the floors creaked, and there were no door closers so they slammed shut. There were many steps and other issues, but it was quaint and worth the price. Inuyama Castle was only a short drive away!

I came to the area for work and stayed here. I usually stay in business hotels, so it felt like it's been a while since I've stayed in a proper ryokan. The inn felt like it was run by a very kind elderly couple. The hot spring left my skin feeling smooth and it felt great. I left early in the morning so my body was freezing, so I took a morning bath, but the floor was so slippery I slipped and fell. However, since it was so smooth, I didn't slip or get hurt. In front of the ryokan there is a pleasant view of the Kiso River.

A hot spring inn located along the Kiso River at the foot of Inuyama Castle. The building shows its age, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The view is also excellent, overlooking the Kiso River and across to Gifu Prefecture. The price is reasonable, it includes a hot spring bath, and the service is attentive. They even allowed us to park our car after check-out so we could continue sightseeing in the castle town; it's a comfortable inn with thoughtful service that anticipates every need.

Everything is good, clean, and tidy. Hot water is nice and clean. My concern is that there was no elevator to go to the actual 3rd floor and we have to take stairs with some luggages for a pregnant woman. Want to give 4.5 stars but Google system won't allow to give a half star. It's a nice hotel and nice stay. Good food and delicious.

Although it was a room-only stay, it was very good. The hot spring water was good and the place was spacious, so I think it's good for people who want to enjoy the hot springs at their own pace. If you're from the Showa era, this is a perfect place to stay.
