Rokujo Hot Spring Kita

I arrived at 10:30 AM on a Sunday. The parking lot was quite full, but when I went inside, it was surprisingly empty. I also booked the bedrock bath package, so the holiday rate was 1,450 yen. There are five bedrock baths in total. One is for women only, and the other is a cooling-down room. The temperature is 38.6 degrees, and the rest are over 50 degrees. The relaxation space has many reclining sofas with TVs. This is exclusively for bedrock bathing. There is a bath and sauna on the second floor. The sauna seemed to fit about 20 people. The water is 15 degrees. Outside, there are four reclining chairs, a hydrogen bath, a carbonated bath, an open-air bath, and more. As I mentioned earlier, it wasn't as crowded as the number of cars. At the restaurant, I ordered a katsudon (pork cutlet bowl) and soba noodles, and it was delicious! 😋 Route 21, a major highway, is located just north of the hotel, so you can hear the traffic while soaking in the outdoor bath. However, there's a large tree outside, and the various baths are arranged around it, so it wasn't a big deal.

Very modern hot spring bath house. It is not natural hot spring water but they got different style both tub so you can try different smell and function of bath water. Lots of local peoples go for take a both, rest and eat. All the facility can easily spend the day. Highly recommend pay for an extra back rubbing program. If I am not make a mistake, it should be call "Turu Turu". It came from Korea, include bathing, back rubbing, shampooing, face care and mask. Of course full body massage is the sparkling part of the treatment. After that you will turly understand the word "clean" as if beyond the boundaries of its nature from invisible transform into something tangible to holding your body tightly. It lead all your sense and body deeply felt the ture meaning of "clean". A word we use in our life time.

This is the reliable Kitanoyu brand. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a spa bath. It's an artificial hot spring, not a natural one. The indoor baths include silk baths, lukewarm water, a jet bath, a sauna, and a cold bath. The outdoor area has carbonated springs, artificial hot springs, a reclining bath, a tub bath, and an oxygen spring. The jet bath and carbonated springs are lukewarm. The rest of the baths are around 40°C. Kita no Yu Yuitsu's Rokujo branch in Gifu Prefecture. Located along National Route 21. ♨ I've been to Owanko Kita no Yu many times, and I've been to Arimatsu, Shonai, Karyu, and Sanno, but this was my first time in Rokujo. 💕 The exterior looked big, but the inside was tiny. It's two stories tall, but the stairs are steep. Hard for an older guy like me. 〰️🫨 The open-air bath is also small. The sauna is about the same as the other Kita no Yus. The cold bath is also spacious. I'm not sure, but the prices at Kita no Yu are slightly different. Arimatsu is 700 yen, while Rokujo is 750 yen. What's the reason for this 50 yen difference? 👀

It was a nice walk to get to from my apartment. The place and staff were nice. I was surprised when one staff member spoke to me in English which was a cool surprise. I enjoyed the baths greatly. My favorite was the silk bath. I liked the jet baths too. Overall it was a great place to relax.
