Ryokan Kanzaki

Thank you for your kind hospitality during our one-night stay. First, regarding the location, it's quite far from the station, so walking there would be difficult. There's a bus stop very close to the inn, so I recommend taking the bus or requesting a shuttle service. The interior had the feel of a charming, old-fashioned Japanese inn, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The courtyard is a magnificent Japanese garden with a large pond. Enjoying tea while gazing at the quiet garden from the lobby is a very relaxing experience. Although there was only one room for two people, it was quite spacious. We were able to relax comfortably, which was great. There's no open-air bath, but because we booked through Rakuten Travel, we received a free ticket to a nearby day-trip hot spring facility (a 2-minute walk), which we were able to use in conjunction with our stay, and we were very satisfied. The meals were also delicious. The Hiroshima beef grilled on a ceramic plate, which we added as an option, was an excellent choice. The meat was incredibly tender and melted in our mouths. Overall, it was a wonderful inn. Thank you very much!
Thank you for your one-night stay. It's a bit far from the station, but we requested a pick-up service, so the location wasn't a problem. From the very beginning, we were treated with warm hospitality, and we felt the charm of a traditional Japanese inn. The room was spacious, and although it was a little chilly even with the air conditioning on, the winter air in the bath felt wonderfully refreshing. We added Hiroshima beef and oysters to our dinner. The food was incredibly delicious, and the oysters were the best I've ever had! The staff were all very friendly, and even took photos for us the next morning when we were short on time, making our stay very pleasant.
There's a great view of the Seto Inland Sea from the second floor. The hot spring source is Miyahama Onsen No. 2 Well. The source temperature is 22.1°C, the flow rate is 230 liters per minute, and it's a weakly alkaline, radioactive cold mineral spring with a pH of 8.1. No water is added, but the water is heated and circulated. There is one indoor bath and a family bath. Bathing is available until 11pm and from 6am to 9:30am the following morning. There is an illumination of the Himalayan cedars in the parking lot opposite. It's right next to the Benimansaku no Yu bus stop, so if you're traveling by train, it's safest to take the bus from Onoura Station.
Five of us older men stayed here in May. For our generation, it was a cozy, relaxing inn that was just right in every way. It's a Japanese-style inn with a long history, and the interior and rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Although it's a little far from the tourist area, it's not a problem to travel by car, and for Japanese people, this type of inn is the most relaxing compared to a hotel building, and it really makes you feel like you're on vacation. I wouldn't recommend it for couples or young groups, but I would recommend it for older groups.
Enjoy sightseeing in Miyajima and natural hot springs without dinner! This plan includes a free outdoor bath ticket. I used this plan and thought it was pretty good. My friend also gave it a similar rating. There were vending machines and ice in the first floor lobby, so it's probably good for people who like to drink in the evening. My only personal issue was that the drinking water on the way to the bathroom and the water at breakfast were a little warm.
