Ryusenjinoyu

Probably the best onsen in Nagoya. At least, it struck a tie with Canal Resort in terms of comfort and vibe. Regarding food quality, I think it's even better than the latter. It had 岩盤浴,a Korean-style Jjim jil bang room that was as hot as 91 degree ! That's pretty awesome in that it only took a few minutes to let you sweat. The outdoor onsen was amazing in that there was a seamless, spectacular outlook on the mountain and an overview on the villages. The vibe was tranquil. The anti-gravity massage chair was a must-try. It was so comfy that one would readily fall asleep after the massage. One more thing: the massage chair cost only ¥300 per session.
It was my first time at an Onsen, and I didn't make the wrong choice. The place was really fancy! There were a lot of different Onsens to try on, and with two saunas. Although there were a lot of people, because the area was big, then there was no need to worry since it didn't feel crowded. Bring your own towels though. It smelled really good and the place was clean and easy to use. There are very many amenities too offered at an affordable price. Sadly, I couldn't take too many pictures inside. There is also outdoor onsen with a very nice view! Nice to do this during sunset time, in my opinion.
Amazing onsen. Very easy to use and pay for if youre a foreigner. The onsen itself had a variety of different bath and sauna but the stand out is the gorgeous rotenburo outside onsen. Multiple tubs and pools give a gorgeous view of the city below. Only complaint is that the after care stations do not include lotion or hair tonic, bring your own. The amenities are great including a restaurant and snack zone featuring lots of options. I got the non premium cone and its as good a soft serve as you can find anywhere.
Relaxing, could spend all day at this place. Salt scrub in the sauna makes your skin very soft. Many different pools at unique temperature levels. One even includes electricity. Good food in the common area. Everything is clean and well taken care of. You pay by credit card at very end. No photos are allowed.
This onsen impressed me not so much with its beautiful evening view of the city, but with its overall atmosphere — and most of all, the number of cold water baths. I absolutely loved the Mori no Mizu one and I just didn’t want to leave. The place feels very fresh and is perfect for relaxing.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
