Sakura Onsen

The location is a bit hard to find, as it's down a narrow street off a main road, but the building itself has a historical feel. For 450 yen for a day trip for adults, you can enjoy the indoor and outdoor baths, both made of cypress wood. The water is colorless, transparent, and has a slight iron content, leaving you feeling warm and cozy even after your bath. However, some parts, such as the floor, flower walls, and the edge of the outdoor bath, are quite worn, so it might be more for hot spring enthusiasts.

I've been to the hot springs a few times, and I had just gotten out of the bath around lunchtime, so I decided to go to the cafeteria. Soy sauce ramen for 550 yen! So cheap! So delicious. In the cold season, eating ramen at the cafeteria after a hot spring leaves your stomach satisfied and your body warm. The shower wasn't working well, but my hair felt moisturized. Next time, I'll definitely go just for the ramen. I'm looking forward to it!

It's a long-established local public bathhouse with free-flowing hot spring water. It's actually a spa. There are two large indoor baths, a sauna, and an outdoor barrel bath. The hot spring water is of excellent quality. There is also a spacious dining area and apparently accommodation is also available. The facilities are old, but I felt at home at this traditional local spa.

2025.10.X It's been a while since I've had hot water...it's the best. There are 2 indoor baths, 1 outdoor bath, 1 cold water bath, and 1 small sauna! The water pressure is a little weak, but it's just a small thing, and there are plenty of baskets for changing clothes and boxes for valuables, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay.

Very lovely local onsen. It has two hot baths indoors (different temperatures), one cold bath, and one very hot bath outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us with limited Japanese, and the patrons were very helpful in sharing soap which we unfortunately forgot to bring with us (so embarrassing!).
