Sakuragaoka Onsen

This hot spring towers over you in the corner of a nondescript residential area, reminiscent of a new town. The water is very unique. It's a light ink color and has a pungent sulfur smell. It says the bath is circulated with added water for disinfection, but the impact is hard to believe given its condition. Even the water in the faucets is hot spring water. My only regret is that the bath water is stirred up in a jacuzzi. It feels unnecessary to enjoy the water purely. I'd heard it was cloudy, and it certainly looks cloudy in other people's photos, but the water I saw wasn't cloudy at all; it was light ink. Hot water is a living thing, so perhaps that's what happens. Considering the temperature (on the hotter side) and the unique characteristics of the water, I feel it's better suited to occasional, off-beat use rather than everyday use. However, the fact that such a hot spring can spring up in the middle of town (although on the outskirts) makes me amazed and envious of the depth of Hirosaki's hot spring layers.

Wow, it was the best hot spring ever. Last time, I couldn't go because I didn't know it was closed on public holidays, so today, on Sunday evening, I finally got my wish and was able to relax. It's small, but the sulfur spring is just right, and it has the milky white water that I love! Shirahone Onsen...it was unfortunate that there was a bath salts incident a while back, but this is a genuine hot spring. The bathtub is small, but there are nearly 20 washing areas with ample space between them, and there's even a waterfall bath and a sauna! Personally, this is my favorite hot spring bathhouse in Aomori City and Hirosaki City! By the way, it only cost 390 yen! The hot spring power is comparable to that of a luxury inn!

This hot spring is located in an area that still retains the feel of a former newly developed residential area, spanning two blocks. The bathroom is somewhat compact, like a public bathhouse. The water is a milky white sulfur spring. Most of the bathers appear to be locals. Shampoo and body soap are not provided. There are coin lockers that require a 100 yen deposit (refundable). The entrance fee is 430 yen. Personally, I like the calm and somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere, but in Hirosaki, an area rich in hot springs, I think there are few reasons for it to be a top choice for anyone other than locals. There are two parking areas: one next to the building and another across the road.

The parking lot can only be turned around if you back into it, so I had to go out onto the road and enter. Around 3 o'clock, there was a huge car parked next door, probably for someone taking their kids to or from school! The milky white water in the bath made me feel like I was in a hot spring (^^) The waterfall bath felt quite heavy, which was nice. There was also a sauna, but the entrance was narrow (lol). When I sat on the wooden chair, the board was loose and I was worried I'd fall... Could you please put in some nails or screws? (TдT) It only took a minute, so please do some maintenance. m(_ _)m I think the cold bath is on the cold side.

I've finally found a replacement for Sannai Onsen! It's a soft sulfur spring, slightly warmer. The generous overflow keeps the water fresh and clean. It's perfect. Furthermore, I followed this review and tried the cold bath and alternating bath, and it felt great. The sauna is a miniature size that can fit about three people, so think of it as a bonus. To be honest, saunas can't compare to real hot springs. That's the impression I had, and it was truly a famous hot spring.
