Sakurando Hot Spring

[December 17, 2025] I came here as part of a certain stamp rally. This hot spring has warm water, allowing you to soak for long periods, making it a popular spot frequented by older locals. Today, however, I mainly came for the sauna. This sauna is a dry sauna with a capacity of about six people. Due to its design, cold air can easily enter when the door is opened, but fortunately, there were few customers today, so the temperature was maintained at a good level. After about 10 minutes, I was drenched in sweat and headed to the cold bath next to the entrance. While this place only has a capacity of one person, I had the cold bath all to myself, so I thought I'd cool down thoroughly, but it was quite cold. I thought it would be moderate because it's flowing tap water, but perhaps it would have been different if I'd been in a different location. After about 30 seconds, the coldness was felt all over my body, and I couldn't stay in for even a minute. Well, after cooling down thoroughly, the break was comfortable, and I enjoyed three sets. The indoor hot spring here is also relatively hot, so I thought it might be nice to alternate between hot and cold baths on a quiet day, and headed home. 😎 Oh, by the way, there's a new single-person karaoke booth at the entrance to the facility. I wonder why it's here? 🤔

I've been going there for years. Recently, they've added a fluffy dome, which my kids love, so we've started coming here every time. They add more toys depending on the season or event, so the kids seem to enjoy it. Even when it's warm, the main hall feels a little chilly. They hold a lot of events, so it's fun! It feels like it's become more comfortable in many ways recently! The bath is also nice, so we spend a long time there every time. If I had one concern, it's that the equipment on the back of the fluffy dome looks dangerous... There's just a simple fence, but the kids jump and touch it without a care, so I'm worried they might get hurt. I once saw the equipment fall over and the dome gradually deflate. There's also a kettle by the drink bar, but it's positioned so that even small children can easily reach it, and it's placed in a way that if they reach out and tip it over, they'll pour it over their head, so I'm worried that one day a small child might pour it over their head and get severely burned. There aren't many hot spring facilities where children can play, so this is great, but on the other hand, it's great to know that they've taken the safety of small children into consideration, so you can use it with peace of mind!

The hot spring was very warming and it felt great, relieving my fatigue. There were three types of high-end hair dryers in the bathroom changing room, including Refa and Dyson, and they cost 100 yen for 5 minutes. If you bring your own hair dryer, you can plug it into the outlet and use it. The dining area and lounge are small overall, with only four tables in the dining area, which can only seat four groups. Some people were eating on the sofas in the lobby, but the tables were too small. You can also eat in the large hall, but people are reserving spots by leaving their bags there, so there were no vacancies and you couldn't sit down. If it's this crowded on a weekday, I wonder if it's even more crowded on weekends. I'm guessing most of the customers who come here are elderly people from the neighborhood. It would be better to ban people reserving spots so that everyone can use the facility comfortably. The food was delicious, but it was difficult to use, so I don't think I'll be back...

July 20, 2025. We arrived a little early, just after 4 PM. We were told that if we waited a little while at the front desk we would receive a 100 yen discount, and within 10 minutes of browsing the souvenir section, we were called to say that it was already discount time. It was around 4:25 PM at the time. It seemed odd to wait until 25 minutes, not 4:30 PM (lol), but if they hadn't said anything, we would have paid 100 yen more for two people, so we appreciated their consideration. The hot spring water was natural, leaving our skin smooth and silky, and we were very satisfied with the lowest price in the area. Outside, we were greeted by a beautiful rural landscape. The sunset was dazzling, but our overall rating is five stars.

I came here with my small child on Respect for the Aged Day, and to my surprise, they had free inflatable play equipment! My child is noisy, so I was worried about disturbing those around me, but I found this in the rest area, which was very helpful as I could relax and have lunch while my child played. The menu has been reduced from a few years ago, but the food was still delicious.
