Sanrokugo Hot Spring

Visited again on September 1, 2025. The management company has changed, and it has reopened after renovations. However, there have been no equipment upgrades. The bathing fee remains unchanged at 600 yen. Stamp cards can still be used. Happily, the opening time has changed to 11:00 AM, and it seems that the only closing day will be Tuesdays. Please check the calendar for September due to public holidays. And today, they are distributing free bathing tickets. If you see this review, please go and check it out! 👍 Visited again on August 20, 2025. It seems they will be closed from August 25th to 31st. Visited again on July 9, 2025. Yasuragi, which was temporarily closed due to the mudslide in March, apparently reopened for Golden Week! It seems they posted about it on Instagram, but the information wasn't available on their website or Google Maps. And from September, the management company will change to a private company, and there will be a short temporary closure at the end of August. Currently, a camping space is being created in a corner of the 365 Ski Resort parking lot, and the company managing it will also be overseeing the hot springs. I use it at least once a month. I think opinions will differ depending on what you look for in a hot spring. I prioritize the quality of the spring water and the view and sense of openness from the open-air bath, so this is one of my favorites. It's a sodium sulfur spring, so when you open the door to the bathroom, there's a slight, distinctive sulfurous smell, but it's not quite like boiled eggs. The water is also slightly slippery, which you can tell is good for your skin. The sense of openness from the open-air bath is top-notch. Based on my experience, the indoor bath is 41-42°C year-round. The open-air bath is around 37-38°C in winter and 40-41°C from spring to autumn.

This is a wonderful hot spring that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. It's adjacent to a ski resort and popular with skiboarders. Unfortunately, it closed in March 2020. I heard the local government is planning to reopen just the hot spring portion. It used to be a well-known mountain pass, but now there's a tunnel, so I was able to get there without any trouble. The hot spring was a little slippery, but very pleasant. Part of the ski resort has been opened as a camping space, and there's also a hot spring, so I think you'll enjoy it. The hot spring is also reasonably priced at 600 yen. I picked up some cold water and drank it on the way back. I think it would be best during the autumn foliage season.

It's a natural hot spring, but it's just a regular chlorinated, recycled, and filtered public bath. But as the name suggests, it's very relaxing. It's very quiet and the warm water is relaxing. It costs 600 yen, but there's an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna, and amenities include shampoo, treatment, body soap, and a hair dryer. There are also lockers with locks. That's more than enough, isn't it?
