さすがに築40年近く経ち古さは否めませんが、温泉の質は最高です。

Previously, they also offered day-trip bathing under the name "Baden House," but unfortunately, it is now only available to guests staying at the Ivy Hotel and Purple Hotel. When it first opened, it was like the beginning of what we now call "super sento," and I recall it even had a sauna and a jacuzzi, but they've scaled back a bit and now only have three baths: hot water, lukewarm water, and a reclining bath. As I live in the prefecture, I rarely have the opportunity to stay overnight, but finally (?) I was able to stay and take a bath for the first time in decades. Like its neighbor, Hakuyu, the spring water is directly drawn from the source, and the water quality is almost the same, but it is about three times larger. As it's only available to guests, I was able to take my time in the bath... That said, I hope that day-trip bathing will resume someday...

This hot spring is available for guests staying at the neighboring Ivy Hotel Chikushino. It was probably originally an outdoor bath facility, but the original main entrance is blocked off. However, guests are given a bathing ticket when they check in, and people from outside have talked to the front desk about being able to use the bath, so it may actually be possible to use it as an outdoor bath. The facility is quite worn out, but the hot spring is genuine, with free-flowing water. It's minimal, with only hot and lukewarm water, but considering it's an attached facility to a business hotel, it's satisfactory.

The bath was really good when I stayed there previously, so I was hoping to drop in sometimes, but unfortunately it seems that due to poor maintenance, even guests are no longer allowed in. The bath is very spacious and the water quality is outstanding, so I really hope they will renovate it and reopen it to the public.

I stayed at a hotel, but it's been closed for a long time due to major renovations. Looking at other people's reviews of the hotel, it's been closed for at least five months.

The facilities are old, but it has a nice hot spring feel.
