Located in Grand Sunpia Hachinohe, this is a truly impressive hot spring. It's so huge, kids will love it. There's a large parking lot between the hotel and DCM. Parking is free. As soon as you enter Grand Sunpia, take the spiral staircase to the left to go down to the basement. There's a shoe locker and a sign at the bottom, so just put your shoes in the locker. Keep your key with you. Tickets are available at the ticket machine for 750 yen for adults. Towels are available, just ask when you hand over your ticket. Bath towels are available for rental for 150 yen. Face towels are available for a one-time purchase for 200 yen. Store your valuables in the lockers before entering the dressing room. You get 100 yen back. While the dressing room is primarily a basket-style setting, there are also lockers in the dressing room where you get 100 yen back. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. Enjoy the clear, colorless hot spring water in the large bath. There's also a sauna. It's a little slippery, so be careful not to fall. Cotton swabs, tissues, and hair dryers are provided. Drinkable water!

This hot spring is located in the basement of Grand Sunpia. It is the most expensive of the hot springs in Hachinohe City. Prices are 750 yen for adults, 370 yen for elementary school students, and 150 yen for children 3 years and older, and a coupon ticket for 11 tickets costs 7,500 yen for adults and 3,700 yen for elementary school students. The large public bath is spacious, and the bathtubs are also spacious, with a fair variety of baths. Amenities are provided. The water is a direct flowing spring and is sodium-based, so it is salty. The temperature is not bad and it is suitable for long baths, but the quality of the spring means that the floor is slippery in places. In addition to this, there is a restaurant, a shop, a chiropractic clinic, a game center, and more. There is also a medical device called a France Bed, but it costs 200 yen at other hot springs, so 300 yen here is just too expensive.

Because it's a day-trip hot spring, many local regulars have poor manners in the washing area and sauna. People leave their personal belongings in the washing area (despite a warning sign right in front of them and a stainless steel shelf right behind them) and even put towels in buckets to reserve spots. In the sauna, people leave their sauna mats there (not hygienic) to reserve spots when they leave. Depending on the time of day, regulars chat nonstop in the sauna. (They wear masks outside, but chat in the sauna?) It's annoying. I asked the hotel to improve, and new warning signs were posted at the entrances to the hot spring and sauna, but nothing has changed. I question the attitude of the local regulars. It must be more of a hassle for guests staying overnight. I often use the hot springs when I come to Hachinohe because they're so relaxing, so this is a shame.

Hachinohe residents have no sense of consideration for others. Five people were sitting and washing, but everyone else had placed their belongings to reserve a spot, leaving us with no choice but to wait naked. Those who reserved spots could enjoy their bath at their leisure without worrying, but those who didn't could not relax while constantly worrying about whether a spot would become available. Two people shared one shower. 750 yen for this is too expensive. The handle of the hairdryer was sticky. ① Staff should regularly patrol and directly remind people to move their belongings. ② Increase the number of washing stations. ③ Limit the number of people. I hope they will improve this.

People who appear to be regulars are reserving spots in the washing area, which is a real problem. It's so rampant that it won't improve unless some kind of drastic measure is taken, such as limiting business to day-trippers only during times when hotel guests aren't using the facility. The facility is clearly making an effort, posting warnings and providing more luggage storage areas, but the reason it's so rampant is that it's being tolerated and people are being looked down upon! They should take more drastic measures to eliminate it for people who are following the rules, such as disposing of personal belongings after leaving them there for five minutes.
