Sendai Korona

Hi, I'm a sauna fan. I'm currently touring the sauna facilities of the Netsudo Sauna & Spa Association, Topos Cure Sunpia Utopia Soyogi no Mori And now I've come to Corona no Yu. These facilities are all of a high standard, so I'm looking forward to visiting the other two! 😊 Corona no Yu has two sauna rooms. ① High-temperature dry sauna with auto-loyly (around 95-100°C) Auto-loyly occurs every hour on the hour and half hour. Dim lighting, a large TV, and a spacious sauna room. The sauna mat is very soft and fluffy. There's a kickboard-style sauna mat in front of the entrance, so I take that with me. There's a glasses holder, but no sauna hat rack. 😅 I'm sure there are some more stylish ones, but they're simple and would be nice to have a few sauna hat racks... I guess it could be called a dry sauna, but I feel like the humidity is quite high. It's easy to breathe. ^ ^ You can enjoy a deep steam while inhaling the aroma of cypress. ② Beitou Stone Sauna (50 degrees) When I saw it said 50 degrees, I was a bit surprised, but the steam was incredible. You can't see inside the moment you open the door! There are explosive steaming times at 00, 20, and 40 minutes past the hour. Don't underestimate 50 degrees...you'll be in for a treat! lol This is what they mean when they say humidity is hot! It feels more intensely steamy than a high-temperature dry sauna. I wasn't sure if it was okay to wear a sauna hat in here, lol. There's also a glasses holder here, but no sauna hat rack. It was so relaxing that I ended up spending more time here than in the dry sauna, lol. The cold bath was a whopping 13 degrees for this time of year! It even had peppermint aroma oil in it, which smelled great, was refreshing, and was the perfect way to cool down! Their thoughtful touches were truly impressive. It's also nice that it's right outside the sauna! There are five chairs in the indoor bath. All of them are against the wall and have footrests. So nice♪ The outdoor space has about seven reclining chairs, seven chairs (with footrests), and one bench. The chairs in the outdoor space aren't against the wall, so there's no neck support, making it a little difficult to relax. After entering the dry sauna, I was showered with water to cool down, then thoroughly steamed in the steam sauna, and then back into the cold bath. Then I reclined and enjoyed the open air. The sound of my heart beating, the sound of the hot spring water flowing, my eyes deeply closed, and the breeze... And just like that, I felt so at ease... Today was another great sauna experience♪ Thank you😊 Plus, the sauna food here is delicious too! I finished off a bowl of Zaru Soba noodles with freshly fried, crispy tempura in one go 😋 Oropo's 340ml mix-your-own Pocari Sweat and Oronamin C is 450 yen. You pour it into a chilled mug with ice and drink it. Yeah, Oropo's level of satisfaction is pretty good. They have a sauna room that you won't find anywhere else, the food is delicious, and overall, I'm very satisfied with this facility! I just wish they had a sauna hat rack lol. It's a small thing, but sauna hats lose their insulating effect when they get wet... The distance from the station is a drawback, as is common at facilities run by this association lol. But I'll still come again!

The side dishes are so delicious they blow everything away. I've written some complaints below, but I'll be back, so I'm sorry if I'm being a bit harsh. The bath was great, the food was good, but the break room was awful. The building was clean, the coworking space was incredibly well-maintained, and the courtyard and open feel were even better than other facilities. Is there a staff room or an adjacent hotel? , the TV sound. Everything is heard through the air, it's unbearably loud. The emotional music floating in the rock sauna room is just hilarious. Super sento are supposed to be places where you can stay and relax for a long time. Not only can you be polite and stay quiet, but the noise is inevitable due to architectural issues, and there's nothing you can do about it. The dimly lit rest room where you can sleep would have been the best, but even there, occasionally, or rather quite frequently, there's a droning noise that sounds like some kind of alarm. Please stop. When I reported this to the staff, they just looked dumbfounded, and they didn't improve it or even report to me about the situation. Maybe they just assumed I'd just ignore it? It was noisy all day. The staff room was probably the noisiest place nearby. Loud laughter was ringing out from nearby, and it's really loud. I've only been here once before the renovation, and I honestly understand why people say it was better before. It was so good that I thought about following up when I went to the hot spring before going to the rest room. I can't stay long at a super public bathhouse with a noisy relaxation area. Well, it's understandable to a certain extent for families with children. It's a matter of the facilities.

It's close and I love the big open-air bath, so I used to go there often... But it's no good in the winter. The water is too warm. I like outdoor baths, but it's impossible to warm up outside at this temperature. People who mainly use the sauna might not mind, but as someone who mainly uses the bath, this has become a hot spring facility I avoid in the winter. Why is it set to warm? When I went, it was December, the first snow had fallen, and the open-air bath was 39°C. It's a carbonated bath, so it's even lukewarmer, and there are no bubbles at all compared to the carbonated baths at other hot spring facilities. In a world where prices are high, I understand that a price hike is unavoidable, but I wish the water temperature could at least be increased. I think it would be nice to have at least one lukewarm bath for people who like lukewarm water. If the temperature can't be improved, it won't be an option when I go to the bath.

The sauna is essentially a cold bath. Prices are a little on the high side, but they don't seem to be stingy. It's still new and clean. The key tag on the shoe locker is all you need to enter and pay. Payments accepted by various credit cards. Auto-loyly sauna. Every 30 minutes, it's thoroughly moist. A five-tiered tower sauna. Below the middle tier, It's not too hot, so it's just right. The steam sauna next door. The steam overflows so much that it leaks outside. Every 20 minutes. It's small, but it's rare to find a steam sauna this hot. Cold bath. Contains cooling bath salts. Set at 13°C. Relaxing chairs and beds. Sufficient number available. Natural hot spring. A slightly moist, transparent type. The open-air bath is spacious. Is the membership card an app or not? Get a ¥100 discount with a physical card. Weekday admission starts at ¥1,170 (tax included). I wish they offered hourly rates for short-term use.

I generally don't like crowded places, so I usually go late at night or early in the morning on weekends when I can relax. The bath is a little warm so I can relax in it without having to worry about overheating, but the sauna is extremely hot lol. I like the bedrock bath so I always go there, and it's always clean and comfortable and relaxing. The loyly attraction is also fun, so I wish they would offer it in the early morning and late night too 🙇. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the price had gone up when I went after a long time, so it was quite expensive. I guess it can't be helped in these times 😔. It's an important relaxation time for me, so I'd like to go again!
