I use it from morning to noon on weekends. It gets quite crowded with local elderly people in the morning. After 11:00, it calms down a bit and it might be easier to find a parking spot. It gets very crowded in the afternoons on weekends and holidays. There can be a wait for the washing area, so you might want to go in before 2:00 pm. There is no sauna. It is a simple bath with only an indoor bath and an open-air bath. Half the open-air bath is in the sun in the morning, so everyone tends to gather in the shady area. Maybe because it's high in salt, your body floats, so if you stay relaxed you'll find yourself moving around lol. You'll stay warm after your bath. The water is a little lukewarm, so you can relax. There are several public baths in Yaizu, but this one is cheaper than the popular, larger facilities and is recommended if you just want a hot spring. The rest area is not very large, so it might not be very relaxing. Sometimes the local old ladies are noisy, but this is the countryside, so that's just part of the charm. First of all, I was happy with the price—just 560 yen! The receptionist was kind and friendly. There was an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The indoor bath was crowded, so I skipped it, and instead went to the outdoor sodium salt spring? It seems like an open-air hot spring! The open-air bath is large enough for the price! It was my first time, so I'm not sure about the water temperature, but I'd say it was around 39.5-40°C. Even though I don't like hot water, it's perfectly comfortable. I like it! The reason I deducted one star is because even during the "quiet" time of early afternoon on a weekday, the shower area was almost completely full. It was a busy time, and even on weekends, it was even tougher. However, the shower in the shower area wasn't a push-button type, but a continuous one—something you don't often see in southern Kanto. I was happy, but with the water shortage, I was careful not to leave it running. Well, I might avoid weekends and busy times, but that's it. Considering the price, it's totally OK!

The water quality is excellent and the price is reasonable. It's 510 yen for adults and 310 yen for children. Discounts are available through JAF. They actively hold events, such as free admission for children on Children's Day and other holidays, making it a popular spot for locals to relax. The slightly alkaline water leaves your skin feeling moisturized even after bathing. It contains about half the salt concentration of the ocean, so it's salty, but that's what makes it so great. The water feels about 40 degrees Celsius. Some people might find it too warm, but it's perfect for families with children. There's a TV and a cafe on-site. Their specialty is their homemade hamburgers. Chilled amazake (rice) is a bargain at 100 yen, perfect after a bath. When I went with my child, they kindly greeted me and even gave me a badge-like item, likely due to a promotion. It seems family-friendly. It would be nice if they had a sauna, but that's asking too much.

There is no sauna, but the hot spring water overflows and is piping hot. They use the water well and the water is clean. I felt that this was a facility with a lot of elderly people, and there was limited rest space, so it was more of a place to go for a quick dip and then head home rather than a place to relax and unwind. They didn't serve any snacks or anything.
